On console, so a huge guess knowing what my craft bag looks like (I don't sell my gold mats).

I have 4.5M in gold. Used to be close to 15M but I went on a crazy spending spree during the last DLC drop.
And I probably have close to 10M in mats in my bag.

After adding up furnishing prices and the addon grand total, it says 427 million. Though to my knowledge, that is not including the actual house prices and I own every gold house in the game. I also own several furnished Crown houses like Stone Eagle, Orbservatory Prior, and Hunter's Glade, among others that I bought with gold. Icing on the cake is my Morrowind Banner of the 6th House, which the addon doesn't account for.

The Wealth Evaluator addon says 534 million which makes sense with all of the motifs, designs, and recipes I've learned. This was a fun little thing to do!
Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. We know it's canon thanks to a book in the Manor of Masques! (House of Reveries: The Troupe)
Proud owner of a Morrowind Banner of the 6th House (back when it actually meant something)

Just because they are bound, does not mean they have zero value. They are valuable to me, and are still worth gold even if they aren’t tradeable. It just means I won’t be able to make the money they are worth, that’s it. Got any pre-One Tamriel items?

a friend of mine paid 10 mill for that staff on xbox a few years ago.

Lucky guy, I haven’t seen one in years, so the price has more than likely gone up drastically, in the hundred millions for collectors, I’d assume.

I know we can't sell our player housing properties to other players, but a lot of them were really, really expensive to purchase-- and I mean the ones that can be purchased with in-game gold. Any wealth assessment that doesn't factor in my incredibly gold-draining housing purchases isn't telling me my actual degree of "wealth," in my opinion. That housing sale during the Zenithar celebration a little while back took a huge bite out of my gold pile. :(

Yeah. Housing is crazy expensive. Each of my notable homes represents millions in spending. Genuinely millions.

Just the 1 clock in my house for example is

Cost: 100 Writ Voucher (one time expense)

    Ingredients (every single clock)

    Heartwood (15)
    Mundane Rune (11)
    Decorative Wax (9)
    Ochre (10)
    Culanda Lacquer (2)
    Chromium Plating (1)

It very much depends on who deside what addod will tell what is worth how much and what has an arbitrary value because of um... some reasons. :D

Taking into account that trading is made super hard for players that are not in the trading guild, I think that my stuff is priceless as I don't have an easy way to "transform it" into gold. ;)

a good place to start as an expensive sink would be the crafting material for the white gold war torte

its already absurdly hard to get that recipe to begin with, and then the fact that it requires a possibly rarer than aetherial dust material to even craft it makes it one of the most useless recipes ever (useless as in so expensive to craft its not worth it, its effect is 100% incredibly useful)

if they still wanted it to be hard to get, make it cost like 1-10 million gold per unit (which would create 4 of the food since its provisioning)

theres not really a good individual gold sink in this game, housing is mostly 1 time purchases unless you buy furnishings from the npc vendors, and guild traders are more of a group gold sink since it takes the entire guild contributing to help with that

You can't sell them once they're equipped, so they're only worth the sell price to a npc merchant now.
