No-Pet sorc PVE

So this was posted on the PTS forums by our friendly community rep @ZOS_Kevin and I'm not gonna lie I got pretty triggered

and I was trying to work out exactly what the team is monitoring this actually means. monitoring what? the sentiment? The viability of no pet sorc builds? No idea.

Anyway, while I suppose I could just post as often as I can in as many places as possible that no pet sorcs are bad and it would be really nice for them to be viable, I thought I'd post here on my journey to make a competetive no pet build.

I'll start with a pet build parse.
This is the dps i'm trying to match.

it's not the highest dps in the game, but the point is just to try and get something in the same ball park. I'd like to stick to doble staff if possible.

first bash at it:

so we're looking at a 10% dps. 100k is honestly better than i expected, but there is no way i could take this into a trial.
I'd say this is solidly in the category of "meme build"

But silly, zos told us, sorc is not meant for the things DK can do, it's not meant to be GOOD at anything, if DK can be good at it.

That's why the sorc buff got given to DK. Sorc aren't supposed to have any buffs DK can't have

alrighty, now we're talking

not gonna lie, this is a pain to keep up. it's constantly hitting something that's proc'd and it's alllll single target. but i set the goal to 110k, and 102k is closer than 100k...
