We need to talk about Corrupting Bloody Mara

Hey yall ^^

I have been around for a while, and have really been wondering, since its change, why is Corrupting bloody mara still using the 500 health regen buff? Shouldnt it be replaced with magicka regen or something? I mean, it makes no sense considering it automatically puts you up to stage 4, and at stage four there is no health regen. Maybe add the 500 regen to the version that puts you back a stage, or is it 4 stages now? Never used that specific one. But thats besides the point, that version of bloody mara should be getting the health regen.

This is something that has been a glaring oversight for years now, any change this could FINALLY get looked into?

you could use the food as a non vampire and get the health recovery, but if you are a vampire no it doesnt necessarily make sense

i also feel that the stage 4 vampire penalty is a tad too harsh since if your just running around you have to pop a freaking heal when you take measly bits of fall dmg or you die by death of a thousand drops lol

Especially since I play stage 4 exclusively. Like I read it after the revamp and just couldnt stop laughing.

It puts you back 1 stage so if you drink a Corrupting Blood Mara and then a Purifying Bloody Mara you'll be at stage 3.

Agreed, and that was one of the things me and a few other people asked for during the Greymoor PTS. I had the crazy and wild idea ZOS did that to sell the Basin of Loss since you could get the HP regeneration out of the drink by using the fountain and lowering your stage to 3.

Of course I long since gave up since I use Bewitched Sugar Skulls, but it'd be nice to see this long overdue change come about. Or have them make the drink progress 1 stage at a time like the other one. Either change will help it.
