Can anyone tell me how emotes work (ie how to create and use them) and is there a guide or list anywhere?

Sarenia✭✭✭✭✭You can't create them. I would love to animate my own emotes, but I can only imagine how quickly it would get abused.
You execute an emote by typing /action
/yawn
/laugh
/lute
etc...
There's some addons that add a list of them to peruse.[beta_group_85b_9]1 -

is hilarious out in front of a tavern in a busy marketplace.

Basilthwaite - male Nord Templar Ebonheart Pact (unwittingly looks like Hulk Hogan. Trying to find some bright gold breeches to match the persona.)
Arwen Basilrond - female Wood Elf Nightblade Aldmeri Dominion (this character is smoken', but she's been advised to quite due to 'elf reasons!)
Sir Basil Ozarian - male Imperial Dragonknight Daggerfall Covenant (this character is titled, but not entitled!)2 -
Basil_oz✭✭✭In Davon's Watch, whilst there was a synching issue, I ended up in/under some stairs I was trying to walk up.
My toon ended up with his head sticking out of the stairs, so while people walked toward the stairs, I used the emote /wave or /shakefist and you should have seen the reaction of their toons! There isn't an emote called doubletake, but I reckon they still did it!NA Mega-server
