full dps builds in pvp simply do not work. i now have a pve build and a pvp build.

Nothing wrong with playing a tanky PvP build as long as you're having fun.

i get tired of being told that the resist cap is 33,000 and then the other guy wonders why hes dying so fast in pvp and there for it doesnt work.

the % caps in pvp are the same but penetration actualy subtracts from the maximum amount of armor you have. so if you have 22,000 pen it still counts if the guy your hitting has 52k resist.

PvP might need a healing debuf that grows stronger and stronger the longer you are in combat. As some classes though are better suited and designed around escaping combat and engaging at their terms (sorcs and nb's i.e.) this more or less needs to adapt based on the class played and the skills used and slotted. As especially sorcs and nb's are way better at escaping combat than i.e. dk's, the latter one is in a clear disadvantage over the former two when it comes down to decide when to exit combat and reset the healing-debuf.

Currently equally skilled one on one players can battle like for ages without a clear winner and it usually boils down to who risks more at given times and who has more luck at others. With the healing debuf ZOS could i.e. say that such fights will end after like 5 minutes as then no further healing applies and it becomes more important to counter damage of your opponent. 1 vs X might get way harder as the X team could basically strategically let a player get out of combat to gain more heal while the 1 player slowly looses his/her healing capabilities.

Though ZOS needs to decide what appropriate values and thresholds here are and whether the same values should apply for a 1 vs 1, 1 vs X and mass siege battles in Cyrodiil.
