For some people 300k damage is too little to build ult on. When it burns in a few seconds it gets pretty annoying

I was being slightly facetious. The guy doesn't have enough health to test a rotation, so it's not like he's doing anything else useful.

Not so much, "game breaking" as something that already exists, and or, would be kinda irrelevant. You can already just pound on a dummy to generate ultimate in your house. I would recommend using a weapon with heroism, like a 2h, to accelerate the process (also, reverse slice on an asylum 2h is a nice bonus).

I'm sorry, I'd say something about ult gen in PvP, but, I'm legitimately exhausted at the moment.

Agreed, though at that point, my suggestion would be, "get used to not being able to alpha with your ult." In actual content you can hold your ult, and save it for the times when you need it, but there will be times when it's simply not ready. Learning how to pull your ult into your rotation once it's charged is a useful skill.

I understand if you're simply trying to get score attack values out of the dummy, this is frustrating and tedious. But, if this is about self-improvement, you'll learn more by rolling with it.

Why would you need to drop an Ult on the Precursor? Are you trying to gank it? The Precursor is nowhere near an accurate DPS test xD

AlthoughI use Vampire's ultigen succ for quick recharge, I think it's a good idea, along with tools like configurable dummy, changing it's resists or allowing to attack 1dmg per s.

Stand here - take 500 ultimate for 20secs ( if not used, back down to zero).

Cannot be used whilst in combat.

I think you know how ulti is generated, no need to unleash all your power on precursor, just hit it with LA every few seconds.

Great idea, this would have applications for PvP too, you could put one in a dueling arena to ensure both players started on a level playing field for dueling tournaments. I would be stoked to see this housing item, I know the gal that runs my guild hall would be even more stoked!

There actually already is one. The Lantern Mantis plant from the Xanmeer Crown crates. I use that one in our guild hall because you an easily block it and generate ulti without being put in combat so you can still swap gear and stuff. They don't deal that much damage, just pop a heal, block and you get your ulti really fast.

idk, it seems like a pretty easy solution to me. Have a second test dummy to light attack on. That is what many of us already do and it works really well.

If the idea is to ask Zos to sell a furnishing in the cash shop that will give you an instant ult I do not think that is going to happen. I have worked with theorycrafters, helping them with their parses to test builds, and have not heard any of them complain. Maybe they are just quiet about it.

For the purposes of Parses, it would help train for real combat. Better than just thinking, insert Ultimate here...

Or, it might be better to have a Dummy that generates Ultimate or allows Ultimate to be Generated. It would be a closer analog to actual combat.

Still would be nice to have a full pool to start things.

I was thinking this would be a good idea, then noticed the date and because this thread was necro'd now I hope as punishment they disable the Aetherial Well in game for three months if not just remove it forever.

I was clearing out my emails and seen the email noti's for responses. I fortunately have ADHD which tends to make things easily forgotten if its not in the forefront of my mind. The subtle point I was making (besides satirically flexing) is that the ZOS devs clearly do read these and some ideas can make it to the drawing board. Even into the game for some things, which is cool asf imo.
