Ulti Generating Furniture Item

The bane of every person that parses is building ulti. Why not sell a housing item that you can stand on to generate ulti. Hop off, go parse, hop back on generate ulti. Save me having to kill the Precursor a couple of times between each parse.

Make it a craftable item that you can get the recipe from the Writ Vendor. Or put it in the Crown store. Half the PvE community would buy one.

Furniture pad sounds like what the elderly use for hemorrhoids lol.

Maybe say , Furniture item: Ultimate Generator idk

It’s a good idea but, all I can think of is people using it with a premade BGs group to charge their ultimates before queuing.

A keg that gives you a drink with 500 ultimate? As long as I can craft it and sell it to people, sure.

*For now, I would use a second dummy/centurion with more hp. The precursor might die before you get enough ulti, which means more waiting.

Ive got a precursor, two 3 mil dummys and two 6 mil dummys. But 250 ulti for a destro really is a pain, regardless of which one o use.

I figured if you made it craftable the housing peeps would want it to sell, the PvE peeps would use it for parses, the PvP peeps would build ulti before or between matches and the Role playing people would probably just stand in it together and throw mudballs or something.

And if ZoS offered it in the Crown store as well then they'd make a mint. No one loses from what I can see

I would only support this if it was lore friendly. Say "the most comfortable chair ever" that generates ultimate when sitting on it.

Honestly that would be preferable, but I'll take what I can get tbh.

I mean the buff already exists. I'm actually sure they have a similar thing happen in Scalecaller when you make the antidote up on the second last boss.. can't be that hard.

I thought it was going to be asking for items that would help you generate ulti while not in your home instance, lol. Definitely something I agree with here, though.

I'm absolutely on board with that. Every parse (as a stamDK) I have to build 250 ultimate for new parse, and I do plenty. Would be much easier if I could start new parse without smacking another dummy for a while. I'd even settle for crown store item (though craftable one would be awesome).

This plus a raid buffer dummy would be nice. Gives me combat prayer, orbs and applies minor vulnerability.

People would put it right next to the dummy so they could cast ultimate more often and get artificially inflated parses. then people would be insisting on 100k dps or GTFO for normal trials lol.

Doubtful. Dps parses are critiqued heavily and most are expected to be performed solo. Any additional buffs are easily seen, and deemed cheese. It's a test of an individual's skill. Not how often you can dump ult

The mechanism to build ulti by spamming a key is already in the game -- the Skeevaton portion of the Frostvault last boss fights starts with you spamming 1 to build up "ulti" so I don't see why this couldn't be made a furnishing. Would be really helpful for raid groups, too.

ok instead of this dumb idea. how about asking for a rebalancing of how ulti is generated in pvp, specifically battlegrounds.

because a furniture item that generates ulti sounds very game breaking to me.

Oh? Do tell how it would be game breaking? Because someone can build ult before a BGs? I guess we should ban pots too, can't let people be too prepared.

Having a build that builds ultimate fast means sacrificing something else. That's balanced already.

Not so much, "game breaking" as something that already exists, and or, would be kinda irrelevant. You can already just pound on a dummy to generate ultimate in your house. I would recommend using a weapon with heroism, like a 2h, to accelerate the process (also, reverse slice on an asylum 2h is a nice bonus).

I'm sorry, I'd say something about ult gen in PvP, but, I'm legitimately exhausted at the moment.

For some people 300k damage is too little to build ult on. When it burns in a few seconds it gets pretty annoying
