Hello, seeing as there are no places for me to put a suggestion thread, I will have to place this here.
The following suggestions are in no way marked in any order of significance. They are for you to consider developing in the future.
1.)Capes--> Why not? Most mmos have them. Good for looking good and for adding more stats on your toon.
2) crossbows--> This game has siege engines but not crossbows. That does not make sense. This is a must. They should be slower than regular bows, but more powerful and not have as far of a range. I am sure you can work out the balancing.
3) More land mounts--> Not just horses would be cool. Bears, silt striders (would probably be too difficult to add a silt strider due to their physique, but definitely add as a transport system if not already. Use your imagination.
4) Flying mounts--> controversial, many people want, and many people do not want. Each with quite rational arguments. Eagles, dragons anyone?
5) Underwater swimming--> Eventually this must really be implemented. Diving for treasure anyone? Even Morrowwind had this! (Then again Morrowwind had lot's of things Oblivion and Skyrim didn't).
6) Breathing underwater enchantment--> Legendary glyph using legendary runes for use only on helms. Redundant for Argonians for they should be able to breathe underwater anyway.
7) Tattoo slots--> enchanted tattoos which can only be placed by specialists in some enchanting buildings who will use some special dye you can find, along with some gold as a payment, to craft an enchanted tattoo onto you. They can only be removed by paying these specialists a steep fee. Different dyes have different abilities, and different shapes of tattoo have different meanings. For example, a red dragon tattoo could mean fire (for the red dye) and the dragon could mean it is an offensive enchantment meaning the you have a chance of inflicting extra fire damage. A red shield would be fire defense for example. All dyes would be a purple item and for high levels only.
Flails--> My favourite type of weapon, flails are rods with chains on the end with balls attached to the end of the chain, often with spikes or ridges on the ball.
Spears and Pikes and Poleaxes--> Another type of weapon that should be added,
9)Eventual expansions--> a)Akavir anyone? Would have to be with correct scaling though. Would probably be the expansion of expansions for Akavir is a very large continent (maybe even larger or the same size as Tamriel!) with four main races (not including humans), dragons, and the provinces that make up Akavir in the lore. I would personally be willing to pay 50-60 bucks for this expansion.
b)Atmora expedition anyone? Some people from the long lost continent would make it to Tamriel, envoys proving people still inhabit the continent and asking for help. Would be a land a third the size of Tamriel, mostly glaciated and in perpetual snow. It is where the Nords originally came from before they were mostly driven out by the growing ice age. But have some have adapted and have remained. Make contact and help them drive out some threat in exchange for them helping your faction and joining the empire. (obviously some would each of the three factions.)
c) Yakuda. An abandoned island chain where the Redguards originated. Said to have been destroyed by an unknown natural disaster. Recent earthquakes have unearthed the island chain once again to the West of High Rock. Help an expedition travel to discover the mysteries surrounding this lost archipelago.
d)Aldmeris--> A long lost continent said to be the original homeland to the mer (elves). Said that the entire large island was city that has been rebuilt on top of the ruins of the last over and over again. Do something creative with this land. =P
Yakuda, Atmora, and Aldmeris would be great to have in one expansion, for it could have a faction for each: high elves for Aldmeris, Nords for Atmora, and Redguards for Yakuda bringing in their respective factions.
e) Thras, the home of the menacing sload race. Mannimarco apparently had connections with the sloads. They used to menace the Summerset Islands. The Aldmeri dominion had sent a fleet there to retaliate but only one ship made it back alive to tell the fearsome tales of the coral atolls of Thras. Would make an interesting expansion methinks.
