Yes, as in clone or replicate settings, many mods has this.The_Titan_Tim wrote: »Yes, couldn’t agree more. Having access to all of the settings in the main character select screen, would help to template new characters.
I get that people want different settings for each character, and that would be the counter-argument to this idea, and I want to clarify, I also am in agreement that it is important to keep each character unique.
Having a master settings, that affects new characters would be a great QoL feature to help us not have to waste time going over every setting, every time we make a new character.

Then they wouldn't have to use the import feature. It's only for those of us who don't feel the need to have separate key bindings for every character.
I think you've misunderstood the topic. The OP is talking about saving and copying keybindings, not appearence sliders during character creation.
In all honesty, this feature should have been there from the start.
IMO, one way to implement this without straining ESO's database is to have it all happen on our end.
If I really like the look of one of my characters, then I can export those slider settings to the game's folder on my PC.
This way, I can at a later date re-import them when creating a new character.
Of course, this all assumes character slider controls data is harmless and can't be used for malicious purpose.
Additionally, It would be great if the above feature allowed export mid-way through character creation. This is especially handy, imo, in those situations where rl stuff happens that I just can't put off.
Having taken care of the interruption, I can then just launch ESO, re-import and continue where I left off.

Most of your "controls" are set by add ons is why it won't happen. Now I agree the default buttons should go character to character, but so much of the game isn't controlled by ZoS really.
