Controller buttons stop working when zoning in.

This has been happening for a while now intermittently and it's getting out of hand.
Use a wayshrine to port into zone and all I can do is walk around, no buttons work, can't run, can't even bring up the on screen keyboard to do a reload UI.
Have to Xbox home button out and restart the game which then gives you the (un)usually long load screens.
On Xbox/EU using a turtle beach recon controller.
Any ideas?
Getting tired of having to restart my game over and over and I'm losing what little faith I have left.

xilfxlegion✭✭✭✭✭you dont have to close out to the ui --- hit the select and start buttons ( i cant remember the actual name of them ) and a keyboard will pop up and you can do the /reloadui without closing out the game --- its been happening since the last update3 -

✭I'm also on Xbox EU and this has been happening much more frequently recently. Luckily, I have a keyboard and can /reloadui but if I'm playing for 2 hours, I'll have to do this 3-4 times.
It is getting rather annoying so I hope it's fixed soon.4 -

I usually have a keyboard attached too but my daughter's broke so I lent mine to her and since the New Life festival has started I'm experiencing the problem a lot more.
Want my keyboard back lol 😩

You can do /reloadui to get the controls back.

Since you're on PC, you can use the keyboard to type /reloadui into chat. That gets the controller working again.0 -

The loss of control on my PS4 fail rate has been accelerating since New Life began. Even worse since the 2.40 update yesterday.
I've seen a few comments saying "hit the touchpad and options at the same time"... All that does for me is bring up the text chat keyboard. And the only thing I can do with that is say "reload ui" to everybody in the area. What am I missing?0 -

Although the "/reloadui" command does reset, and allow me to continue play, IT IS GETTING WORSE. This morning, 29 December, 2022, it's happened 3 times in less than a half hour. Is ANYONE actually trying to resole this issue?Edited by DcellDave_1369 on December 29, 2022 11:25AM0
