Re-enable emotes while fishing - the most entertaining part of the art

To my sadness, You are no longer able to swing that fishing rod around like a sword or wave it in the air like its the 1970s or play it like a flute or any other of the highly entertaining and hilarious things to entertain your fishing company. Could we please get it back?

    Um.... I just have no use for emotes under any circs. If they enable them, okay, but there are many things I'd rather have....

    You were able to do that? The only reactions I've seen/heard are "Woooo!" etc.

    Interesting that there are 40-something videos of fishing in ESO but none mentions the emotes. Kinda shows you can get popular without having a clue :-D

    Well... yeah. Hence the "re-enable" in the topic. I used the /firespinning in the night for really wacky effects.

    It worked by simply combining the two animations. So the character was holding the rod in its right hand while doing what ever you made it do e.g. kata with a fishing rod as a sword.

    My favorite part of fishing was using the fire spinning emote while doing it and turning my fishing line into a cyclone of fishing mastery... I miss it dearly.

    I remember how I would use the /eat3 emote with the Beast personality while fishing to pretend that I was grabbing the fish out of the water with my bare hands. I'm sad to see that the emotes have been disabled... even sensible emotes like /sitchair are disabled, so you can no longer sit down in a chair while waiting for fish to bite, like I often find myself doing in real life.

    An aside, but I do wish ZOS would re-enable emotes for in werewolf form as well. There were a few emotes that actually worked in that form, so it's a shame to see that even more fun uses of emotes are being removed from this game.

    Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color) Added in Update 50!, Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

    They should bring this back! One of the quirky things about this game that made it interesting. Go fix ‘real’ bugs, please.
