Since we currently cannot hide our waist style, I think this is a major problem. It means we have to try to find a waist style that isn't "too disruptive" of the style were going for. This is very disappointing.

What do you mean you can't hide the waist style? If you learn any style it goes to the outfitter. You can use the outfitter to make any 'look' you want on each piece.

The Dark Brotherhood medium belt is also very discrete and, with most motifs from my experience, is hidden completely underneath.

Oh, it seems I stand corrected, but damn, did they really miss 2 whole style pages? Wow, they've dropped the ball before, but as far as I know, they've never missed like this in my time playing.

They have left out certain pages before, such as with the Companions/Prophet styles - most were missing heads, but I think the Prophet was actually missing the same waist part. In that case it seems that the Prophet doesn’t have a waistpiece of any sort, so creating one would have deviated from the style he wears in game. Here they might have chosen to separate the waist part from the chest part for these two more recent styles for a fuller set, but I’m not sure how they determine the total number of pages, whether that’s more a design or marketing thing. It doesn’t strike me as an oversight, though, which makes me curious why they went about it this way, incorporating the waists into the chests.

I find if you dye the belt your best black and use the light Pellintine belt and also dye that your best black it practically makes it invisible and blends in nicely. I might put up a screenshot if anyone is interested.

Medium orc 4 belt disappears entirely on any female character, no matter with what chest piece it's equipped, or if it's a belly free style.

Not sure about male model, but that is usually my go-to belt if I just can't find anything fitting.
