It's showing just regular maintenance are we on console not getting firesong on the 15th November like it's supposed too? Has it been delayed - I can't find any info

Maintenance for the week of November 14:
    • PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – November 14, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 10:00AM EST (15:00 UTC)
    • Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – November 15, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
    • PlayStation®: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – November 15, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)

I don't remember any DLC being released on console with only maintenance that day. I think ZOS will need to push a patch to all console megaservers on November 15.

Perhaps fixed version is still in validation or something. I'd expect they prefer being few days late to releasing a crash bingo.

I would be fine with ZOS releasing a bug free version a few days late. However, that would mean they should be updating all their advertising, like the banner article on the ESO web site https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/63075

I don't know what mistake has been made (ZOS posted an incorrect banner, ZOS forgot about needing to push the patch, ZOS forgot to tell us the console release is delayed, etc.), so I tagged Kevin and Gina above. Hopefully this will all get sorted out.

Thanks, myself and many others have been wondering and can't find any info about this. No clue what's going on. If firesong is coming for us or if it's delayed. Surely it should be stated somewhere.

@ZOS_Kevin : Is there a typo in the maintenance banner? Shouldn't the console servers be down for patch maintenance on Tuesday (Nov. 15), instead of regular maintenance?

You only need to look at the length to see we are getting the DLC, normal maint is only 4 hours. This one is going to take 6 hours. That with it already being announced for this date and nothing since then to say otherwise, tells us.

Simply because someone forgot to enter a few extra words to say that it's a full update does not mean it is otherwise. I wish it was going to be delayed simply because of the event coming just 2 days later and the fact we may have to put up with bugs that will make that event painful.

But alas no, nothing ever seems to cause delays for this team even when it could be a good thing.

There should be an announcement if this will be delayed.

There is no 'normal' average for maintenance.
We've had ones that last 1 hour to ones that have taken 8 hours. So this is not a given. It's a simple case of miscommunication again.. Mistake or not.

Correct. "Normal" is all over the place.

And they need to be consistent in the language they choose to use, otherwise it just causes people to wonder what they mean, especially when they leave simple questions to fester over the weekend.
It very well could be that the schedule hasn't changed from what they have previously stated, but they "forgot to enter a few words" in both parts of the console messaging.
Once is easy to write-off as a typo; twice creates confusion.

Apologies for the mix up here. We'll get the maintenance banner edited but we can confirm we are still launching Update 36 on consoles tomorrow and there will be a patch to download.

Will we be getting any of the fixes PC got or are we getting the standard chaos version?

Gina has already said you’ll be missing out on the guild rank permissions bug:

          https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/7750296#Comment_7750296

Since that took until today’s incremental to fix, you might get other fixes included in the patch as well.

The crashes involving rollbacks, the DK exploit, and endless Cyrodiil siege were hotfixed for us, so they ought to be able to hotfix those on console without additional certification or a client download. That doesn’t mean you won’t crash - it just means most of the causes will have been fixed (or are irrelevant, as you can’t run logs or NodeDetection, for example).

I’m sure there will still be many bugs left, including probably the block bugs, but you will not get all of ours.

Trust me you don't want this patch. Just pray they implemented the block fix if you're interested in anything more than solo or normal content.

          i saw that.

what an interesting support ticket you'll have to write.

I really hope this block bug can fixed as soon as possible it's actually highly breaking most game play

They got it fixed internally, but it didn't get done in time for the 11/14 patch, so it'll be in the next one.
(probably around 11/28, since Stadia requires an approval process that takes two weeks.)
