How do you all play in Cyro? I started playing BGs more over the last year because I couldn’t stand the lag. I ventured out more recently to Cyro but it feels like the lag is worse. Normally BGs have zero lag, but I’ve noticed since this last update there has been small, noticeable lag lately.

I went out and combo’d someone as a stamplar and they had a chance to move about 3 feet after breaking free before they blew up from PotL. The person probably didn’t even know I hit him until I was 2 - 3 seconds into my attack. Then someone jumps on me, we fight for maybe 2 minutes, and neither of us are getting any worth while combos off because the lag is so bad. It takes 2 to 3 seconds to even activate an ability. It was cool that 2 people sat on their horses and watched us and didn’t jump in, but it kind of felt like I wasn’t fighting someone as much as I was just trying to slow down and get the abilities to fire off in order lol

Has this been others experience? How do people play this every day? I want to throw my controller through the TV. I’d probably play a different game, but on Xbox, this is still probably the best MMORPG right now, even with all its flaws.

Cyro has always been my favourite part of the game but I totally stopped playing in it a month ago because I was utterly disgusted by the lag.
In the end seeing that there is no future for it made me take ths decision, all we had are some totally useless test and some empty promise.

i dont usually experience that much lag in cyro unless its like a 40v40 keep defense (in which case lag is less of an issue so much as risk getting booted back to the login screen)

IC is basically never laggy, even during event, BG just dont have enough player to really make it lag lol

Speaking of lag, I mainly play GH on NA PS since it's the most populated, bigger fights, etc...And it's always a gamble with lag, glitching, rubberbanding, etc....I did play on BR last night though solo for a few hours and had no issues whatsoever. Granted all 3 alliances were at 1 bar each but even at 3 bars, I just don't run into lag on BR like I do GH

Some find the lag/desyncs/bugs just enough to have fun, some try to play in different times, with less players, but for some the fun is having big numbers to fight.

So it ends in players getting frustrated and playing less and less until they quit.

The reality is that ESO decision makers are very aware of this, that is why the game is changed to prioritize new and newbie players, because the elite and veteran ones are leaving, or already left, because of the state of the game.

Play in ravenwatch. We have none of the problems you mentioned and none of the sets that get complained about either. We have a different problem... Not enough people. One would think these problems would fix themselves but they don't. Come to ravenwatch we need you and you need us!

Since the servers got replaced, I really haven't experienced much lag at all. You all must be on xbox ps or eu?

Yeah. Xbox NA. Battlegrounds has even gotten worse! It’s pretty rough. Skills not firing or even landing because the enemy isn’t even there, but show they are, lol. Can’t believe how rough battlegrounds have even gotten.

the purpose of cyrodiil has been about trolling enemy players. that is it. well, winning the campaign and getting 1st place rewards can probably be the next; but, this is a distant secondary objective.
