Things I'd like to see ZOS add to the game

I was talking with my guild the last few days about things that could be added to to the Elder Scrolls Online. While I know some things will probably not be added for various reasons I thought it would be fun to make a list of things we came up with and see what other people would love to see ZOS add to the game.

Things I'd like to see ZOS add to the game

1. New classes
  • Bard
  • Druid
  • Monk

2. New Skill Line
Could be either new weapon skill lines or guild skill lines.

3. New Weapons
  • Spear
    We already saw the Naga use spears. Would be awesome to add that for players.
  • Crossbow
  • Instruments like the Harp for Healing etc

4. New Races
5. New Companions
  • Werewolf
  • Vampire
  • Necromancer
  • Warden

6. New Arenas
Our guild loves running arenas and it would be fun to either add more or to add a new form with 2 people. We only have 4 arenas in the game so far.
  • 1-Peep
  • 2-Peeps
  • 4-Peeps

7. Reworked System for Leaderbords - Better Rewards
The rewards system for the leaderbords needs to be updated. While I appreciate getting golden gear or something like that it would be nice to add (more) funishing, collectibles etc.

  • Trials

8. New PvP stuff
I know the code needs to be rewritten first so that PvP actually works, but it would be nice to see new pvp updates coming after that is done. I love PvP in ESO and really hope it will flourish once again.

  • New Mode - Maybe 12 vs 12 vs 12
  • New Small Space PvP zone
  • More deadric artifacts added to Cyrodiil

9. More earnable Mounts
The only earnable mounts in ESO are the onces you can buy with gold, get with the Trial trifectas or the wolf with anitquities. We need more ways to earn mounts ingame and not through the crown store.
  • Grinding (see the antiquities mount)
  • Drop chance for doing old content - like the one in AS
  • Bound to achievements - adding mounts for example to the Emperor achievement, Grand Overlord one, dungeon trifectas, Zone story etc

10. More events for guilds
Would love to see more events for guilds especially. Competitions between guilds could be added - winners could get awesome prices and other guilds could get participation prizes.

11. QoL
  • No cap for transmute crystals
  • No cap for event tickets
  • More housing space
    The housing limit has to do with the old consoles but maybe the code-rewrite may also help with that?
  • Different Werewolf forms - Werecats, Werebears etc
  • New earnable skins for Sorc/Warden pets
  • Hide shoulders option
  • Option to dye your hair
  • Stackable Treasure Maps
  • Ability to collect more than one survey at the time
  • Optional Vet-Overland or a way to scale overland
    Optional being impotant here. One of my guildies who likes to play more casual was definitely no interested in harder content as they want to chill out after their day of work. So if they add a harder overland it should only be optional like vet-dungeons etc.

12. New systems

  • Hunting-System
    I was thinking that a hunting system would be fun, adding hard bosses that only spawn every once in a while and that need lots of people to defeat them to get earnable cosmetics. A hunter could give you a certain quest so when you slayed the monster with your friends you can get a token to get cosmetics.

13. New Zones
  • Altmora
  • Shivering Isles (and other deadric realms)
  • More of Blackmarsh
  • Solstheim (Maybe with adding quests like in the Bloodmoon DLC for ES III)
  • Sunforge, The Weeping Desert, Colovia (Hammerfell)

Feel free to add other ideas or add what you won't like from this list. Would be cool to see what the community wants to have added in the future.

    Would like spears, spellcraft.

    Crossbow is already in game like a skill, so it is even strange, that it is no such weapon.

    The same time some DPS weapons are even now underperforming, so buff of lightning staffs passives, as example change its passive to buff all not AOE but overtime (DOT) damage - would be good change.

    The same time more race and companions are cool.

    Would like companion like Altmer girl, who sell Indricks )))

    I like how she looks like )))

    And more fashion for companions - change hairstyles and etc would be great !

    I think Crossbow and Spears could fit in easily with current skills given how some skills are named like One handed and shield, twohanded and bow but I'd imagine the problem would be more dev side given the like 100 odd motifs. Crossbows would probably be easier with like at least Dwemer and Imperial motifs you'd have to make but spears are too common of a weapon to lock behind a motif.

    Probably want a new weapon skill for magikca to at least spice up some visual variety them person with staff so something at least like 1h and spell/rune would help towards people who want to look more towards stuff like a Battlemage or Spellsword style of play.

    Probably a new curse like Lich something could be new

    New races is an issue as well Maormer have a writing problem with Summerset given how they're like killing Maormer on sight, Akavirs general vagueness locking them off and with how some dead races in the current time frame makes new races quite limiting for ESO.

    They can just make Artifact weapons, as example it can have no motiffs.

    Just example - artifact spear.

    But for spear it have to be good and fast animations !

    If they make spear skills look like ... new jabs ... well - better no spear in this game )))

    Than it is better crossbow and rocket launchers )))

    Dremers can do some thing like that ? )))

    Or some weapons with cool AOE hard attack skills with big AOE damage and a lot of explosions and fire.

    Would love for them to add more classes, playing as a Bard would be fun.

    And yes, new races are needed but they would have to make sure that it goes with the lore I guess.

    • The warden allowed new pets....possibly taming
    • A Story mode for Dungeons for Solo Players Dungeons that Scale for two to three players with companions
    • A Story Mode for Trials that allow two to four Players and Their companions
    • The end of the war
    • The Revamp of Imperial City to a PVE area
    • The Revamp of Cyrodil to something similar to Craglorn with plenty of PVE story and more difficult content
    • A PVP Oblivion Battlefield where players fight an unending war between Law and Chaos
    • Major work on how assets are handled in-game (This is most of the game's issues)
    • Revamp of Companions that make them actually useful
    • Make overland more dangerous not (necessarily harder) where Traps can kill you and the choices you make have actual consequences.

    And finally, give consequences to content creators and how they and their audiences in chat treat others, especially on the Stream Team...they are representing the game and should at least try to make everyone feel welcome.

    As always when this thread comes up, I'd settle for a decent trading system that isn't entirely dependent on belonging to guilds in general, and in particular those that have won the trader auction. It should also operate equally effectively across all platforms without being dependent on third party addons that are only available on one third of the servers.

    One or two of the previous suggestions I'm fine with, but I do wish we could come up with a better term than so-called "content creators" as that is a completely false description of what they do.

    In addition, I’d like to be able to fillet fish at a provisioning station and increase the limit for pets and characters in homes as I can’t even have all my kitties together.

    They should definetly increade the limits for pets and characters. I wanted to make an all Khajiit house once but at some point I could't put up more Khajiit characters in the house.

    1 -- be able to buy transmute crystals in the store.
    2 -- stackable maps!!!!!!!!
    3-- fix the order of the crafting materials -- give us the option to do it alphabetically- the current system is horrible ( i know they added the cursor to show which ones you need but this doesnt help if youre doing multiple writs like some of us do) -- its currently laid out in motif number order but that makes no sense because new motifs come out with lower numbers so there is no rhyme or reason to the way it is now.
    4 -- to be able to mass fillet fish!
    5 -- fix the quest map location --- if you are inside a city and try to use the quest map location thing - most times it will show quest markers at the city exits --- so you literally have to leave the city and then look again from outside of the city -- maddening.
    6 --stackable maps!
    7- it would be nice if when youre looking at an item and at the top is shows if you have said item in the bank - it would be nice if it also showed if you have it in a storage chest.
    8 -class change tokens!
    9 -- oh, and stackable maps!

    I would really like to see a third ability morph for all current skills. Or at least the class abilities.

    Maybe would take 5x the EXP to level them. Could freshen up the game a bit.

    In addition, would add new flavors and options for areas that classes are currently lacking.

    Unless they choose to phase out last gen consoles, it's incredibly unlikely we will see a new class in the game any time soon.

    As for weapons...I'd rather see an unarmed (hand wraps or knuckle dusters equipped) skill line than an Xbow or Spear

    But some of the other things people want aren't bad options.
