Greetings,
I help run a decent sized social guild and I have seen a problem 3 times so far to others and once to me... The ability to play without being seen by the guild or others.
Since all characters log in under account name, and the game is in the guild, not the character, you can't log in without being seen by them... Different situations come up that have caused players to be unable to play because they can't avoid being seen EVERY time they log in.
There are several obvious reasons right off that are usual real life... In my own case I am known as the person to have intelligent chats with, but if I just want to just play the people get annoyed that I am not chatting.. if I could I would play a different character, but I can't so I just don't play. In the case of a guild member, ex-boy/girl friend.. she want to log in and play but he can see all her characters so she won't play because she wants to stay in the guild, but can't play a non-guild character... I have several related stories we have come across...
There needs to be a way to create a character that the option to NOT be associated to 'x' guilds...or to be invisible to the guilds

you can set your account to appear offline, and no one will know if you are online or where you are. They also can't send you messages.2 -

SeñorCinco✭✭✭✭Located in the top left corner of the guild page is an icon and your username. Clicking on that icon allows for several status options.
Green - Online
Red - Do not disturb
Yellow - Away
Gray - OfflineWords contained in posts, at which point I stop reading and will not respond...
Toon / Mana / WoW or any acronym following "In ___" /
Pets (when referring to summoned Daedra) / Any verbiage to express slang (ie, ending in uz,az,..) / Soul Stone

Ailyth✭If you don't wanna be social, don't join or run a social guild lol. End of. As far as the ex thing, there's an ignore feature, pretty sure he/she can ignore him/her account wide. That's why account wide stuff is so brilliant =D Oh yeah there is also the whole "show offline" feature, but where's the fun in that?1
