No crashes, no NodeDetection, yet no addons?

Still can't figure this, has to be something simple I'm overlooking.

I'm not crashing.
I do not have Harvest or the lib NodeDetection and never have
I do have lots of addons, however, really common ones like TTC, Lazy Writs, etc. and none of them work at all.

Am I just in the "you have to wait until the patch on the 14th" crowd? There has to be something really simple I'm not doing. Ideas?

Checkbox "Allow outdated addons" on the addon list page?

I haven't seen that checkbox in forever, wasn't it rolled out back in 2021 since addons are enabled by default even when out of date?

So, when I'm in game, I go to menu-> ADD-ONS and they're all there, checked and happy.
When I go to SETTINGS -> Addons, there's nothing in the list. Blank.
When I go to SETTIGNS -> Add-Ons, it just says "Add-On settings are currently unavailable. Please try again later"

I've gone to Minion, and uninstalled, reinstalled, same problem still happens. No ideas?

Just a wild guess: have the permissions changed on your "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables" ?

If it's possible for them to have changed without me ever accessing (or being aware of!) that file/folder, then maybe lol? My gut says it's some library that's acting up, incompatible with the new patch etc. My hope was (is) that this is happening for others and there'd be a quick "do this and this" fix.

Is it possible your virus scanner has quarantined that folder for some weird reason? Again, I'm just guessing. :)

Since I'm getting UI Errors, I doubt it, the game is obviously accessing them. I'm not programmer enough to follow the UI Errors but I have uninstalled and reinstalled the (many??) libs etc. it named. That's why I was thinking it had to be an offending library of some sort throwing the whole thing off.

Perhaps you could post the UI error popups you've been getting in this thread? One of us might then get a better idea of what the problem is.

    Sure thing:

user:/AddOns/NoAccidentalStealing/NoAccidentalStealing.lua:1: function expected instead of nil
    stack traceback:
    user:/AddOns/NoAccidentalStealing/NoAccidentalStealing.lua:1: in function '(main chunk)'

    and

user:/AddOns/LibAddonMenu-2.0/LibAddonMenu-2.0.lua:1001: function expected instead of nil
    stack traceback:

    user:/AddOns/MasterMerchant/Libs/LibGuildStore/Settings.lua:18: in function 'internal:LibAddonInit'
    user:/AddOns/MasterMerchant/Libs/LibGuildStore/LibGuildStore.lua:386: in function 'LibGuildStoreInitialize'
    user:/AddOns/MasterMerchant/Libs/LibGuildStore/LibGuildStore.lua:673: in function 'OnAddOnLoaded'

    and

    user:/AddOns/MasterMerchant/MasterMerchant.lua:4198: in function 'OnAddOnLoaded'

    and

user:/AddOns/LibAddonMenu-2.0/LibAddonMenu-2.0.lua:1001: function expected instead of nil
    stack traceback:
    user:/AddOns/LibAddonMenu-2.0/LibAddonMenu-2.0.lua:1001: in function 'lam:RegisterAddonPanel'
    user:/AddOns/AccurateWorldMap/AccurateWorldMap.lua:461: in function 'initialise'

These are the first few that pop up, there are 5-6 more. I might add that this is new, only since the new patch. I've played with this add on setup for a long, long time, I haven't changed or added anything. I just log in and play, like I always have.

The other major thing that's causing crashes is the fact that the follower option is set to default to "on". Check that, and if set to on, toggle it off.

I'm not crashing. Never have. Read the initial post, none of my addons are working. None of them.

The errors seem to mostly be in LibAddonMenu 2.0, what is its current version ? The latest version is the High Isle version, which is 2.0 r34 dated June 6 2022. I had a look at line 1001 of my copy of this library, but it didn't really tell me anything useful.

I do know that LibAddonMenu throwing an error, and none of your addons being available, can't be a coincidence, because this library manages the addon submenus under the Settings menu. Hopefully it's just out of date?

Thanks, I figured that too, so I manually deleted every LibAddonMenu folder, uninstalled again, then reinstalled and bam! Problem solved.
