Bug in Reapers March / S'ren-ja village

    I am at a loss here for this one. I am missing 5 quests in Reapers March and I am wondering if this village has a part in it. On my map S'ren-ja is filled in and it says "You exposed the SMuggler's Ring". Does that indicate that it got finished?

    I received a reply that this is fixed in 1.0.6 (apparently an undocumented fix)

    Same here but the ticket is not clear if the quest should be there or if we are getting this retroactively or even what to do, as for us with the problem, the area shows complete? I'm *** about completing everything and if this fix doesn't grant a retroactive reward for completion and I can't just go back and redo the quest that got cut short, I'm just stuck without the achievement and the title for it?

    I went back to the village again today, tried talking to everyone, etc. but I can't get Milk-Eyes to talk to me to give me the final thing I need to finish off the area. So if there was a fix, I'm not sure if it affects those of us mid-bug :S. It's the last quest I need also to clear off the zone and AD hero :(

    Same problem here!! Looks like it's not resolved with 1.0.6. I'm trying to submit another ticket now.

    And just got a reply back (in the same ticket, 3rd person to look at it going by the names) and it is just a copy paste of the generic "quest" fixing instructions - are they just using trained monkeys at this point?????

    First of all, we are sorry to ear that you are having problems with your quest, we are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the quest "Small Town Problems." We suggest players doing other quests in the meantime.
    Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try while we investigate:
    Type /reloadui in the command line of the Chat Box
    Try a soft reset: log out of the game and launcher completely for at least 15 minutes. This will reset the character's instance information and may cause quest NPCs to work properly.
    Leave the area and re-enter.
    Abandon and restart this quest, which also causes quest NPCs and objectives to restart; this generally gets positive results.
    Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience, we will try to solve this situation as soon as possible.


    There are the standard non-working tips, but at least they referred in the first part of the answer to the correct specific quest. This might indicate that they're aare of the problem, let's hope for a future patch!

    <<< Also stuck at 50/51 quests for Aldmeri Dominion completion ... all but this is completed. I also have ran up and down / back and forth through every town / location / enemy camp / duengon you name it. There are no other quests except the 3 troll quests meant for you to waste time / spend gold on in the town with lizard race/troll fight/sprint race.

    I just came back from this area, the quest giver is telling me to talk to milky-eyes, but milky-eyes has no quest for me, this really needs to be fixed for the few of us that the quest ended suddenly. I was told by a person doing this quest after the patch and he/she had no issues completing the quest.

    I really would like to get my achievement and title (Dominion Hero).

    I can post ticket after ticket and its all the same scripted response they close the ticket I reply to the tickets everyday.... EVERYDAY... and never get a reply back. I open a new ticket in game and they say they add all the tickets into one. Now I replyed to this ticket for the last two days with out a response and I will have to you guessed it open a new ticket in game. and wait for it get the same scripted response.

    Hey my name is and i will be addressing your issue. I've found the other tickets and combined them with this one including the one you just mention 140424-010102. I'm going to research more into this issue since it's not on our known list . I see you have already submitted a bug report on your previous ticket so to start i would like you to try the simplest steps which usually fixes most quest issue

    Here are some troubleshooting tips that may help you as we work towards a more permanent solution. We recommend that you try the following:
    Typing /reloadui in your chatbox, for graphics or user-interface issues
    Typing /camp in your chatbox, which logs you out. Afterwards, exit out of the game and launcher, and wait 15 minutes before logging back in. You are performing a soft-reset which will clear out the cache and allow the game to load properly.
    You can venture off to complete other quests, allowing time to pass and the greater possibility being able to interact with the NPC
    It is also possible that you can return with a party and attempt the quest with a fresh start (after sharing the quest via group tab)
    As a last resort you can try abandoning the quest and re-acquire it
    It is a good practice to record the name of the quest before abandoning. This allows for easier reacquisition of the quest later on if the quest giver is hard to find. A quick search or a trip to the forums can uncover problematic quest issues.

    Any of these tips can also apply to other quests or problems that you may have in the future, too.

    Issue is not resolved. I do not want you to close the ticket.
    So I guess I have to reply to it every day?


    Quest: Small Town Problems (Lv41, S'ren-ja | AD Reaper's March)
    Problem: At the beginning of the quest you have to choose between 3 people whom you want to help first. I chose to do the Haunting of Kalari quest and after I finished it and handed it in I could choose whom I wanted to help next.
    I chose Milk-Eyes with the Quest Rat Problems but afterwards I didn't get the quest nor a new objective. I have no quests for S'ren-ja in my journal but speaking to Milk-Eyes doesn't do anything and I can't complete the area since I can't do the other 2 quests (village is marked black on the map telling me to help the villagers).

    Also to help you with the Cheese in your Keyboards while you wait for the skeevers to eat them out... try looking at these topic about the bugged quest on your very own non skeever forums!

    Thank you so much for making us aware of your issue! I am greatly sorry for the delay in response, sometimes Sheogorath's shenanigans affects us here as much as he affects with the mages guild! They usually have something to do with his obsession with cheese and then that leads to skeevers and its all down hill from there.
    Anywho! If the residents of Reaper's March are sleeping on the job then we shall wake them up! I will let the fighters guild know immediately of this nonsense and have them rowdy up the largest hollering drunken bunch of Nords to storm through the town and get all those people up and at em once again! Please be aware it may take sometime to rally a force worthy enough to cause such a disturbance but I have already sent the messenger guar and we will have this quest fixed for you soon. In the mean time try these solutions that have had positive outcomes for other players. Please attempt to /reloadui, /stuck, and then /camp and log back in after 15 minutes to soft reset the game.

    Ticket after Ticket they must get paid for each ticket that they can close.
    In this Ticket I gave Ref to the other Ticket #'s that were all closed.
    the problem with this quest in detail.

    I am sorry but the Customer Service is Lacking to Poor.
    "With the Email System in Place."
    How many Tickets get Closed that are Valid Problems?
    If they Close all the tickets and never Reply to them when you reply to them how does the Dept that handle this "Problem" even get told of the problem.
    Sorry for Rant but Their are other problem other then the Gold Bots and Farmers.....

    Once again the same here, tickets closed marked as solved....How was this solved for the people stuck with no quest at all, they mean solved for those that haven't taken the quest? if so, how can that be solved for them if they never had the problem...frustration is getting up there now.

    It really seems like it should be easy enough to just put the damned quest we're missing in our quest logs or reduce the achievement requirement for AD by 1...

    I understand there are more pressing issues that need to be fixed at the moment, and I also understand that this issue is not game breaking or stopping me from continuing with my progression. What is really frustrating is the total lack of knowledge from costumer service, the by ticket been closed as solved when it's clearly not solved at all, and above all, the complete and utterly lack of respect from costumer service on the simple fact that I was told on my now closed ticket to type /stuck and /camp.....how it's this remotely related to my issue of my bug ticket in any way or form?

    I'm not saying I'm going to cancel my subscription either, but if I was, Zenimax own costumer service team is making sure in every possible way that I do it. When the frustration gts high enough for me to see bye forever, the executives for Zeminax should just walk into the costumer service area and say, thank you all for killing our game, you are now all unemployed.

    I still haven't heard anything back about my ticket :(. I completely agree with you on all accounts--it's more just frustrating both from a gameplay perspective, as well as more importantly, a customer service perspective. It would be better for us to say they don't know and it's being looked at than to keep regurgitating the same things.

    Well I hope others are putting ticket's in because Its sad to say but I am done fighting the fight by submitting ticket's to just have them closed.
    To never have them respond to the ticket when I reply to them through Email.
    To have them marked all as solved which it is not.
    I will never submit a ticket in game again.

    I even did the call back thing they offer a week ago never got that call either.

    Kind of missing the games that had a ticket system where you would talk to a GM in game that way it seemed to get resolved...

    Three weeks and several patches later still no solution to this problem. Not even the smallest indication, that ZOS is aware of the bug. I guess, customer support just thinks we're too 'dumb' to find the quest(s) and never reports the issue to the dev team.

    Just reached this Quest - decided to help Kalari with her ghost problem and after that didn't get follow-up.

    It's quite disastrous as I'm Veteran rank 9 and I'd need every single Quest for experience and when half of the zone is bugged... it's bit... harsh.

    Made a ticket myself as well, most likely just going to get another automatic reply. :(

    I'm really sorry you're experiencing this situation regarding your quest choices.
    In The Elder Scrolls Online world, different choices lead to different stories... Maybe there's a quest your friend completed that you didn't, maybe he chose a different reply to the NPCs questions.
    Your actions have in impact on how the world evolves around you.
    Unfortunately, in this case, your friend got to do a quest that you didn't get the option to do, on other cases, you will do quests that he won't know about. Different heroes follow different paths.
    I mean, what am I supposed to do with replies like this? :\

    The one I posted here was Zenimax's automatic reply, which just picked up my line as I talked about choices in Quest dialogue and the system assumes that the follow-up Quest is based on it. Thus saying what is says.

    After replying to the email, I managed to find real person in their Customer Support and my problem got addressed to team with higher experience with Quest problems. Still waiting for their reply though. :\

    I made a ticket on 11th, almost a month ago and still no response. Seriously if a ticket is escalated you might aswell just forget about it.
    I made a ticket about this quest aswell and got some silly solutions before escalating it, like abandoning the quest when i clearly stated i didn't get a followup and i'm left with no quest.

    Patch 1.0.6 didn't fix anything for me and from what i see here the order you choose to help the NPC is irrelevant but i have one question:
    Were you in group or solo?

    It's because when you send a ticket, an automatic systems picks words out of it and sends a canned response, even when you get to the second part of CSR, they still have no clue on 90% of the game mechanics.

    We are not asking to give us anything, just fix the quest so we can all go finish it and get the achievement, how it's that hard at all? Can we also at least get someone from the staff here to acknowledged this issue at all? My ticket was closed twice and marked as solved, but I put that in 9 days or more ago. Why is this not even on the known bugs?

    I was in group with my brother.

    After completing the Quest, we had an option to tell the truth or lie about her brother. My brother told the truth and I lied.

    Ended up with the situation where my brother managed to pick-up the Quest successfully, but my follow-up Quest bugged and I'm stuck until they repair it.

    Might be, told about that to Customer Support in my previous email and it got addressed to "team with higher Quest experience".
