Syrabane’s Ward and Faun’s Lark Cladding in PVP

Medium Chest – Faun’s Lark Cladding
If you continuously Sprint for 1 second, you gain the ability to pass through enemies. Enemies you pass through become Charmed for 4 seconds, removing their ability to attack or cast abilities as they move toward you. Charming an enemy this way restores 678 Stamina and Magicka to you and heals you for 678 Health. Charming an enemy removes you from Stealth.

Heavy Belt – Syrabane’s Ward
You cannot move while Bracing. While Bracing, you create a 12 meter zone of protection. Allies within the zone increase their Block Mitigation by 30% and their Healthy Recovery by 950.

These both will cause major issues in PVP. Fauns will let a player completely incapable of attacking you while you can drop everything on them. Syrabane's will make it even harder to kill comp groups who already can ignore most siege and ulti dumps.

We are so entrenched in a Tank meta that I am completely dumbfounded that nothing has yet been done to quell the issue, but rather we keep getting sets and adjustments which only further dig us deeper into that hole. The entire premise of warfare in Cyrodiil has been completely toppled by a simple equation. Who has the most tank builds on coms will win every battle. No one needs to do individual damage. Everyone can build to max survivability with one or two proc sets. We then just focus down people one by one who cannot put out enough damage to overcome our ridiculous advantages.

Please consider making these sets work outside PVP only. We already have enough problem sets to deal with as is.

1000% Agree. It is literally insane.

Sure a tank should be able to turtle out the damage from maybe 2-3 people (maximum), but that isn't what we have, we have actual insaanity where it takes a full group to take out a single person. Absolute madness and they only want to make it worse.

And on top of that why do they refuse to do anything to address heal stacking in PVP? It is the single major problem that ballgroups abuse to make Cyrodiil unfun. Focus on that, not adding more broken sets, or baffling changes to the Emperor bonus that no one asked for.

As to Faun's specifically though, it appears that it is just a fear effect that can be broken free from. As long that is true, and it respects CC immunity (which appears to be the case) it isn't that bad, even though I think the core idea is unfun.

Fauns 5 piece is a long way to go to basically get a fear but where the player can move and still break free.

The other will be trollish for sure.

    It isn't a 5pc, it's a mythic.

Oops. Yep just a 1 piece mythic. Still after seeing how it works, it's still pretty lackluster

Assuming you CAN break free right away, that is still plenty of time to burn down the target or bomb a group. We shall see.

Faun's will be combined with Stage 4 Vamp's Unnatural Movement passive (not that uncommon already in PVP) to have the person completely stealthed up during their spint until the moment they disable you with Faun's, at which point they also get the 300 Weapon/Spell Damage from Strike from the Shadows when Faun's pulls you out of stealth. I could forsee this being a pretty strong gank combo.

Fauns being called OP is so out of left field for me when it is definitely a worse CC. Your enemy can, for instance, still exit a negate or get away from incoming siege.

Which you can do right now, sans the "CC. That's the only thing this adds to that combo. It'll be interesting to see if it is worth taking over other options for sure.

I mean you might as well have vamps stun if you're stage 4 to begin with and save your mythic for wild hunt so you're fast as hell while doing it. Kind of pointless so far IMO

the cc is only good for ganking because you skip a gcd to do a cc ability and u start damaging directly, like nbs used to have out of stealth regularly. Could be useful in a brawl as you run behind a pillar and come back with the stun, but only this is not worth wearing.

The problem would be easy sustain, just sprint through few people every 7 seconds and u get 2-3k mag and stam, that's 300 mag per sec meaning a 600 both recoveries set in one item with no downsides. The free aoe cc is bonus, walk into a big stack after corner u get healed back to full, also for free.

"it costs stam to sprint and time" sprinting for 1-2 seconds is nothing for these benefits. It should grants these effects with a 7 sec cd to align with cc immunity. And activate after sprinting for 3 sec at least.

Just to confirm, Charm is a CC like fear?

Also, you can't cast while sprinting so it may as well have a GCD.

So if you remember fear back when people would uncontrollably run when feared. It's like that but they can control where they are running

I'm more woried about combinations below. With Magickasteal it will be possible again to build permablock builds.

    Light Legs – Stormweaver’s Cavort
Adds 300 Magicka Recovery. Sprint, Roll Dodge, Bash, Break Free, Sneak, and Block now consume Magicka instead of Stamina. You cannot regain Magicka while Blocking, Sneaking, or Sprinting. You can gain Stamina while Blocking, Sneaking, or Sprinting.

    Combined with things like:
    Desert Rose
    2 items: Adds 1487 Armor
3 items: Adds 1206 Maximum Health
4 items: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 items: When you take damage, you have a 25% chance to restore 2012 Magicka. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.

    Perfected Defensive Position
2 items: Adds 103 Stamina Recovery, When you reflect or absorb a spell projectile with Defensive Posture, you restore 2200 Magicka. If Defensive Posture expires without reflecting or absorbing a spell projectile, you restore 6600 Magicka instead.

    Magicka Furnace
    2 items: Adds 1487 Armor
3 items: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
4 items: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
5 items: When you take damage while you are under 50% Magicka, you restore 7590 Magicka. This effect can occur once every 30 seconds.

    Perfected Precise Regeneration
2 items: Adds 526 Critical Chance, When your Regeneration critically strikes, you restore 558 Magicka. This effect cannot occur from simultaneous critical strikes.

    Spell Parasite
2 items: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
3 items: Adds 657 Critical Chance
4 items: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 items: Whenever you deal damage, you restore 63 Magicka. This effect can occur once every 0.25 seconds.
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

bloodlord embrace only works on 1 target at a time, and only if you can bash them, so doesnt work well if your going for a tank that can take 20 people beating on you, especially if they are ranged

Faun activates after 1s of sprinting. Unnatural Movement after 3s. Faun disables stealth, so while wearing it that passive become useless apart from sprint cost reduction.

faun only disables the stealth upon charming, so in cyro you could be sprinting around without running into anything for quite sometime

the first enemy you charmed would break stealth, thus giving you the other bonuses to perform a burst while the opponent was dealing with charmed effect
