HOW TO FIX THE GREY BUTTON PROBLEM 80% CHANCE THIS WILL WORK!!!!!

For people who are having the grey button problem if you don't have userSettings.txt this will most probably work for you guys and for the people who don't know what it is try this out to see if you have it or not because it will most definitely fix your problem go to your Documents---> Elder Scrolls Online ---> Live.... if you do not see a file saying "userSetting.txt" right click it and hit edit, delete everything in it and copy and paste everything from this attachment

It's a very common issue and it involves the grey button bug which is something that the elder scrolls team is trying to figure out

I've listed a fix in other threads that is a 100% fix for the other 20%. You just have to copy a friends live folder or copy one off of a computer that creates it correctly. I made a post like this detailing the 100% fix that I found a week after lunch and it got no likes and no comments. I don't believe this is still an issue otherwise more people would comment/like when it helped them fix it. Also, your fix is the known fix that is posted on hundreds of forum threads and thus serves no purpose.

This forum was made so that the representative that was on the phone with me can clearly understand what I did to fix my problem and there's no purpose in going back and forth on a discussion that I made to simply help out of care for anyone who had my problem not to know if this problem is big or not because that doesn't matter I only care that if anyone comes by and sees this post and has my problem I can help them get back into the game they paid 60 dollars for

I doubt you had to tell them that this is how you fixed it since they have been telling people this as their only fix option since 2 betas ago. I understand that you are upset that your post is beating a dead horse, but you don't have to respond with a BS story to try to justify it.

I will also admit that there were posts about how to fix this issue like yours using your fix months ago, so perhaps you should have checked the forums instead of calling costumer service so that they could have helped someone who's fix was not detailed at least 40 times in the forums.

usually the larger cities have a bank, it looks like a treasure chest on the map. A few of the larger ones do not have them, but you can always port to the starting city and use that one. Also, if you join a guild and get 10 friends to join it, you get a guild bank with 500 spots which is great for crafting mat storage. Also, if you have a horse already, I suggest investing in a larger bag. It is only 10 spaces per upgrade and it gets really expensive after a while, but it will help in the long run. Which alliance are you playing in?
