One guildie of mine said there was a server issue with storing data and to expect further downtime, shortly before it went down. No idea the source.

From zone chat I heard the following 3 issues:

Yes, the multiple rewards of endeavors that disappeared again after teleporting to another zone

but also the harvest from surveys disppearing after teleporting with survey maps gone

Disappeared CP after teleporting

Bad enough to intervene ASAP

Calm down a bit. Emergency bring down is valid in this case as they may have to roll back server to fix the issue and the exploits related to it.

Considering how fast they responded and reacted I would say it was appropriate.

Endeavors were massively broken and quest progress was resetting between zones. The servers *needed* to be brought offline as quickly as possible. Let’s all get over ourselves.

I'm stunned, stunned that things went south after a patch. Once again they probably did no testing before the patch was implemented and are now in repair mode.
