Graven Deep dungeon on NORMAL dificulty. Zelvraak’s grey ghost realm don't heal with PALE equiped

Hi i runned yesterday with wife Graven Deep on normal to see what is there.
We had both Mag templar with pale order ring.
No problem at all until final boss. Zelvraak’s grey ghost realm phase on 50% of HP was a problem.
Ghost give us only speed buff but NO heal. So we died after 2-4 seconds.
On the VETeran difficulty they heal why they don't heal on NORMal?

On that grey ghost realm heal didn't worked at all and ghost didn't give any heal only speed buff. So it could be something with Pale Order ring? That you can't get healing from ghost because woth pale you can heal only yourself?

Note: we missed the first secret boss if it really matter on normal.
Note2: we was only Me and Wife with companions.
Note3: we both had PALE ORDER ring that could be a problem?

    I was soloing the new dungeons on normal (on the NA server) to experience the story from them, I already finished the other one but ran into the same problem with Zelvraak as well. Like, clueless of what to do on this 50% health segment, I ran around clueless thinking I just need to touch a certain number of ghosts before my health completely drain? In a few attempts I touched a total of four ghosts, nothing.

    But yeah, I also had the Pale Order Ring equipped as well. I don't know if that's the issue or not as well. Should've experimented of swapping to my oakensoul ring earlier when I was on.
    Main is Blue-Thuxis, a Argonian stamSorc, whose also is a werewolf! 2nd main, Cobalt-Thuxis, a Argonian stamArc, an identical twin sister to Blue-Thuxis, even is a werewolf as well! some alts:
    Nirn-Scale Rajthux (Argonian, Templar), Ros-Ei Nature-Thuxis (Argonian, Warden), Crimson-Thuxis (Argonian, DK), Bone-Thuxis Tharn (Argonian, Necro) Why Bone-Thuxis has Tharn as a last name:
    The siblings were separated at a young age due to a Dres slaver raid, Blue, Cobalt, Ros-Ei & their mother were able to escape, Crimson & Bone weren't that lucky. Crimson was later "rescued" by some Orcs that later ambushed the House Dres Dunmers, unfortunately one Dunmer remained & sadly successfully brought the young Bone-Thuxis to the Dres plantation. Later an Imperial, a Tharn, bought Bone at a auction & later told he was free, the young Argonian sadly had no idea where to go & doesn't know if his family was still alive, so the Tharn adopted him into House Tharn. This family of Argonians finally reunited years later.

    Some ESO history: I originally started from PS4 NA during June 10, 2015, I did reached CP 810+ on there. I eventually kinda got tired of paying PS+, so during February 4, 2019 I started moving to PC NA. Also CP: 810+. Nowadays I play ESO PC mostly, while PS4 is dust.

    i did not run into this issue, but my main doesnt use the pale order ring and i was getting regular health bumps from the ghosts

    edit: to add clarity, i was also running solo

    I did it with my partner, both of us with isobels, on normal. we did all side bosses. no pale order, but a self-heal slotted. wiped once (which is when we slotted the self heal) and then cleared. we had no idea what mechanic was lol, but just ran around to ghosts that looked important.

    What I understood you must run through grey ghost what you give speed buff and heal you but I think that with this mechanic ghost are counted as players for Pale because if you have it equiped they don't heal you...

    Also experienced this on normal. With the ring equipped, the mechanic is broken and you inevitably die on that stage because the mechanic disables any other form of healing and the ring disables heals from the ghosts.

    This phase of the fight was extremely confusing and frustrating until my partner and I figured out it was the ring blocking progress.

    Aren’t NPCs, well, NON-players? Other NPCs, like companions, can heal us with the ring. This seems like a big oversight that ultimately makes the fight undoable.

    Restore 20% of the damage you deal as Health. This value is decreased by 4% per ally you are grouped with. You cannot be healed by anyone but yourself.

    It's pretty clear ;)

    If you urgently need healing from your damage, you can still slot the blue cp that does the same effect, just with 8% healing.

    They why do companions heal us? They are mechanically pets, right? But also not ourselves - we don’t command their heals personally like we do Matriarch heals, for example. They also come with names and personalities and faces and backstories we can’t change - again, not ourselves or even our choice about who they are.

    ETA: Companions do not count as "ourselves" for Pale Order purposes in the sense that their damage does not return as heals while wearing the ring. If they were "us," then we would get 20% of any damage they do as heals.

    7% healing from direct damage (there is no 8% healing from all sources) is nowhere near the same as 20% from all sources. It seems strange to me that they would design a mechanic where a mythic is an auto fail for the fight. Mythics are a way they get people to buy content and spend time farming for power. To block progress when a player is wearing one seems backwards to me.

    I guess the intent for Pale Order is for healing in solo situations like arenas, which don’t allow companions.

    For group dungeons though, I would have assumed the ring would be okay but that is a new mechanic in the new dungeon and the ring probably didn’t get considered during the dungeon mechanic design phase.

    Should probably change Ring of Pale Order to, "You cannot be healed by other players." Should serve the purpose they intend without running into issues with PvE mechanics.

    Anyone is considered as PvE mechanics too? Never get to the problems with heal until this boss fight mecanic phase ;)
    Then Matriarch and Clanfear must be banned too because it is a pet ;)

    But this is just wordplay ;)

    But the POINT is, that you just can't pass that mechanic even on NORMAL with the Pale Order ring so it can be usefull for others.

    Yea agree or can be changed to "You cannot be healed by anyone AND ANTYHING but yourself."
