Wayshrines are so wrong , in citys they are more then 1 minute riding from crafting

Yeah in your situation playing 15 hours a day I can completely understand why it may get annoying and redundant.

To me and how much I play per day it really doesn't seem like a big deal since I don't do it as much daily as you. So I can completely understand..

Anything that you have to do constantly over and over again over that kind of time period daily can easily be annoying.
its not 15 hours of playing, i only do it if its fun

what annoyes me is that i spend more then 5% of that time just repeatingly traveling between a wayshrine and a crafting hall, because they put them so far appart,

that was the point of the disccusion

theres no need to put them so far appart

it wastes the time of every player totally senseless

Euh.... seems you haven't found the town for you yet then... on A.D. I always port to Velyn Harbor... everything's close togheter and at a short distant of the shrine...

I'm sure others have their preferred crafting spots, but for me it's Velyn...
The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...

and if i play 15 hours a day i waste an hour

i notice

but you waste the same percentage of your time,
no matter how much time you spend

Wait until you hit Rawl'kha - best place I've seen on the map for having all facilities centralized =)

theres 1 town where wayshrine crafting and bank are really nice, very close together, but most are... bad not made for players, maybe because it looks good ?

not for players anyway

rivenspire Shornhelm has the best wayshrine craftinghalls and bank cobination in my opinion, the alchemy and enchanter is a bit too far away, but its not needed everytime so ok

basicly from player view no city is desigened good

they are designed bad for players,
of course for zos the more time players waste the better, cause you goto pay for more time

I have no issue with the current layout. I support leaving it as is.

Seems like the further I get into the game, the towns I come across tend to have better layouts and have things closer to the wayshrine. I play in DC, and in Daggerfall the run is pretty far, but it never bothered me. Wayrest's wayshrine seemed to be closer to everything. Shornhelm's layout seemed to be even better. I'm level 26 now so that's as far as I've gone.

This has always been part of the Elder Scrolls. A big thing people like to do in skyrim is find the house that requires the least amount of loading screens to get to it and all the crafting and merchants around it. so its no different with ESO. have you noticed a lot of towns don't have a bank, or Stables, and the crafting stations are all spread out. Just find to one place that is the shortest to tavel to, and your good. The fact is the wayshrines make any city's distance pretty much null from where you are.
• ct12yyyeb17_ESO
Is the pay to run concept :)
Let`s count the running around in money.
Most of us spend at least 15 min/day running around in town. I don`t even wanna try to count 2-3 hrs of PvP ....you will run at least 40% of that time.

Count this time in 1 year and will give you somewhere over 1 month of wasted time for us and 15$ for them.

Sooner or later you will quit but you will quit later if you will waste TIME running between what ever is your real purpose.

wayshrines are put bad

i need a wayshrine close to crafting dealers and bank, but they are put in places i goto ride more then 1 minute each way

i don t like horses i don t like riding, it takes away my time in a useless ritual of riding

put wayshrines in the city with the bank next to the bank please, next to crafting, and next to 1 dealer

Because getting on that horse and riding for 5 seconds is a real game killer.

I'm playing FF on my GBA and when i read a thread like this i laugh So Hard...

(not even FFV or FFVII i mean i found my gear and was like "oh cool, lets start from the beginning")

When you're feeling under pressure, do something different. Roll up your sleeves, or eat an orange.
Be on the look out for things that make you laugh. If you see nothing worth laughing at, pretend you see it, then laugh.

There are cities where the wayshrine is very close to the crafting areas. Use one of those cities if you are too lazy and impatient to ride the 17 seconds from the wayshrine to the crafting area.

im in early retirment

i got 391 euro a month to live

i got infinite time(almost)

and no money

its just the most fun i can get for my euro

i pay about 10 cent a hour for internet electricity + teso
Tell them to get off your lawn hauke ;o). The others who live on 391 euro a month or its international equivalent understand completely!

"Judgementalism" aside, you can also probably explain to them that although you play up to 15 hours a day, that you are an adult with lots of leisure time and this is one of your favorite hobbies. It does NOT mean you have no sense and literally sit there continuous like a vegetable. *Sigh. I'm sure you get up, move around, eat good food, go out, play with your pet if you have one, tease your wife, significant other or friend (*who may ALSO be joining you in this fun past time!).

Go for it. If something more interesting comes along you can afford I'm sure you will add that into your life. Have fun and good journeys! ^-^

I completely understand where the OP is coming from. Only from his standpoint that he plays so much per day. If I were ESO I would keep an eye on players like this as I would not want potential health issues on my shoulders. At the end of the day $14.95 on one or even a select few customers.

I really hope he is over hyping how much he plays per day. But if it is true, I can understand exactly how running is a time sink.

For me personally I don't notice. But I can picture being in his shoes.

playing 15 hours a day is the biggest waste of time i can think of. I don't consider any part of the game "more time wasting" than others, as thats what it does... Nothing good will come out of this, even if you put in 1000 hours and wayshrines were lined up next to everything you needed.

Still... wasted... time :)

i don t need out to get more...

but you goto realize how you spend your time

your wasting more then 5% of your time

running around the same track 50 times

takes about 10 minutes of 60 minutes game play

wasting time

which you pay for

doing nothing usefull for ureself
