A very well timed free to play event combined with a crown sale will guarantee a steady playerbase and money influx. At least for the moment. Even if a lot of faithful and loyal players leave the game with a heavy heart right now this will not be a problem. To be honest, i was always impressed with the perfect timing of events.

Well, crowns are on sale right now. And I’m pretty sure a whole lot of people find that more like comedy than impressive this time around, but I see your point.

I still haven't managed to log on as my PC ran out of space. It says it has space but the launcher says it hasn't. Going to buy a new drive to install it on this weekend.

Two weeks to get that Maelstrom bow for the trials group before I get nerfed and can’t get it.
Don't worry too much for vMaelstrom, it will take only take MUCH longer with U35.
On PC, someone wrote that he did vMA in 4x mins before, with U35 he needs 7x mins.

I rather worry for vVateshran, because most ppl already can barely do the final boss.
I know for sure I will NEVER will be able to do vVateshran again after U35 goes live.

Solo arenas are as easy as they were before the update. You can go full dps there with little heals and still complete it. If you struggle with them, you either are not good at dpsing or haven't mastered the mechanics yet. So there's only you to blame, not the update.

I'm trying to enjoy what time I have left to have fun, but it's like trying to enjoy the beach when you can see the tsunami approaching fast. *sigh* My poor, beautiful DK...she doesn't deserve what's coming.

I feel this on so many levels.

I saw most here talk about FF and I went to try it and I could only handle it for about 30 min. The first time a character opened their mouth and no sound came out I couldn't understand why this a comparison to ESO. What am I missing? Auto-attack? No thanks.

I do have compassion for the very passionate player base that is upset, but as others have said; if it's not fun anymore, don't play.

The hard truth is ESO owes you nothing more than what they have provided. If you sub, your reward is the crown roll over. Besides that all they need to do is keep the servers on.

I play XBX NA. I am a true casual. I've never used a dummy, don't care about stats, PVP, score pushing or all the other terms I see here. In fact I shouldn't even be on the forums at my participation level. I watched a veteran(?) dungeon run and it seemed like a whole different game. Looks fun though I could never imagine doing such a thing.

But one thing I've learned over the last 6 months on this forum is that you must filter the noise down to about 20% to get a realistic feel for what is really happening.

Personally I am not too concerned. If I have to tweak so be it. But again I understand that I am a lowly causal, and that this is less painful for me than those that have been around for some time.

I can only wait and see how my characters play on console. If I parse the forums (pun possibly intended) it probably isn't armageddon.

I understand that ESO is a game, but change is always good to shake things up. It's just going to take a little bit to adjust. And good players do just that.

Anyway, if everyone leaves and you are on XBX NA come find me if you're lonely. I'll still be here in one of the most awesome MMOs I've ever played (I'm 51 so I've played a few in my time). 🙂

    Cheers

Change isn't always good. Change for good reason is good. Change for the sake of change isn't. There are a thousand other things they could have done to improve the game that wouldn't have created this debacle. Players should look forward to updates, not tolerate them 🥴

Let me guess, a SuperHero like you is using the "Ring of the Pale Order", right?
Because with these Pay-To-Win Mythics anybody thinks he is a SuperHero.
Try it without the PTW Mythics to show off your profound knowledge...

However, even with the PTW Mythics it will be much harder, because U35 nerfs Dots and LAs hard.
And besides your overall damage going down 20-30%, your healing will also be weaker...
Who says vetVateshran is "easy", moreover "as before", really has NO CLUE ABOUT U35...

    Two weeks?

And here I was thinking the game has at least a few years if not several years left.

I do know according to the forums the game has been near eminent death since 2014.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."
