Best way now is to play Tales of Tribute against NPC's, it's a lot quicker. Over in two minutes most of the time.

Gotta love game developers that add stuff most players don't want and/or just skip, then to convince themselves and their bosses that such additions were not a mistake, start adding unrelated rewards players do want to push up the activity numbers so they can then claim their addition is actually popular.

    Still not playing ToT though.

I love that most people who complain "DLCs are so much longer than basegames!" are always comparing Fungal I to Maarselok, as if those aren't both the outliers in length on either end.

I know I could bang out Falkreath easily in the time it takes to slog through a City of Ash II. Heck, the speedrun achievements for 13 DLC dungeons (White Gold, Cradle, Mazzatun, Fang Lair, Scalecaller, March of Sacrifices, Moon Hunter, Malatar, Frostvault, Moongrave, Icereach, Unhallowed, Castle Thorn) are the same as for two of the basegames (City of Ash II and Crypt of Hearts II both at 30 mins)... and there are 10 DLC dungeons that are even faster than those (Stone Garden, Black Drake, Dread Cellar, Red Petal, Coral Aerie, Shipwright's, Earthen Root, Graven Deep all at 25 mins, and Bloodroot and Falkreath at only 20, which is the same as all the other basegames except FGI and Wayrest I)
...that means there are only 3 DLC dungeons that have a speedrun time set longer than any basegames: ICP at 45 mins, and Cauldron and Maarselok at 35 mins.

Yes, the DLCs are more mechanically intense and require more coordination (or people to be actually doing their roles), but it's not like they're impossible. Obviously a dungeon designed around green Lv 10 players (like FGI) will be a cakewalk next to something designed around experienced Lv 50 players (like the DLCs). But again, the transmutes are supposed to be a reward for helping players who are looking to go through a specific dungeon, not just a way to get free stuff with the least effort possible - and I'm sure that since a DLC pack just released, that there are a lot of players queueing specifically for those two so they'll end up coming up a lot in the random queue.

Listen...I feel bad about leaving. I really do. The CORE of the issue is this is practically the only method to get crystals...no, I'm not enduring miserable Battleground to get these. I've suggested it before, and I suggest it again...give us a ...I dunno check or something that excludes the DLC dungeons.

Most battlegrounds modes are about tactics not killing

Theyre rewards for doing dungeons.. IMO they should subtract keys etc for leaving. There should be a greater cost than just 15min slap. If you queue for random be ready for random.

Those aren't that long. Also kinda fun compared to MOL. You wasted unnecessary time doing this.

If you really don't want dlc dungeons go to a starter zone and pick up someone below level 45.

If you are in a group with someone below 45 then no dlc.

Honestly I'd love to get that line up, except Cradle. I'm not overly fond of it. I'd prefer vet though. Normals are a bit boring to be perfectly honest and fortunately (or unfortunately I suppose) this type of behavior seems a lot more common in normals.

I seem to get Elden Hollow more than any other dungeon. I absolutely hate it.

Why spend 40 minutes in a dungeon when I can spend 90 in queue/penalties. 10 secrets the ESO pros don't want you to know.
    PvP needs more love.

The only dungeon I leave on if I get it in a random is March of Sacrifices.

I wished they would ban players, who instantly leave a dungeon and waste the time of 3 others. You made a nice application already.

The only time I do this is when I get hit up by a friend to join a trial or something right as I get into the dungeon. Otherwise no.

    Fix:

Keep a separate character slot for your healer
    1) Create said healer and level to 10 at dolmans (using experience scrolls, you even get one for free while leveling)
    2) Once able to join dungeon queue do normal dungeons until level 45 (earlier is wanted)
    3) Delete character and restart at 1).

This is the method I use and although leveling a new character to 10 takes a few minutes initially you never get the harder DLC dungeons. This benefits everyone as the time you save waiting out the penalty is spent instead leveling a new character and you don't make others upset when you drop queue over and over.

Also with this method you are benefiting the community by giving others easier dungeons too.

    Edit: clarity

When I get one of these longer dungeons if given the chance before others jump group and leave I suggest we at least try first boss then people can decide stay or go. Most times everybody decides to stick it out. been a few times when we realized the group we had wasn't going to make it. Most those were because of tanks not having what it took to properly keep the boss occupied.
Been a long time since I did a random though. Now if I am in a DLC dungeon it is because I want/need something in there.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

    @DigiAngel

Lolol sounds like a you problem. If you don't want to do them don't que with random. You have an option to shout for "experienced" players and form your own party que for random and no matter what be done very quickly. Or join a guild and run with them. If you que random expect fake tanks/healers expect low DPS, if you expect the worse you can't be let down but be happy when you clear it fast.

Ps: if you spam leave they should -x transmute crystals if your the first one to leave. This would force people to try it then disband the party if it's not going well just saying if you want to play alone then be with the crowd because God knows how long those DPS waited to get into que just for you to leave.

Why are people calling for you to get banned lmao. I have work and a very limited time to play ESO. In order for me to play to the fullest i need transmutes for builds. Im not gonna waste my time with a team that MIGHT not be able to pull their weight in a part of the game i dont even like playing in the first place (normal dungeons)

Same energy as BG people who get mad at people who pvp and dont obsess over the objective

If you didn't wanna play it, why would waste your precious time queueing for it in the first place? And then waste the time of 3 other people as well? Seems strange. I don't think a ban is necessary. Maybe something outdoors perhaps?

Well...seeing as how my candid post managed to *** a bunch of people off, here's this:

    1. I had NO idea leaving made such an impact....I apologize to those impacted.
    2. I'll no longer do dungeons in the morning when I have little time.
    3. I'll try and find other ways to procure crystals when I need them (which, after U35 I do).

I appreciate the feedback...even the angry, insulting ones.
