Each toon can have 4 hirelings (blacksmith, cloth, enchantments, wood) so on a single account (8 toons) that's 32 hirelings. I think he only has one acccountGreasedLizard wrote: »Jesus, you run 3 accounts?Malediktus wrote: »I got lots of hirelings. 4x lvl 2 hirelings and 21x lvl 1 hirelings.
I found the 'sets' you can make from crafting stations not as good as the sets that drop. Then again this makes sense as the crafting sets once you have do the research, you can make endlessly, while the drop only 'sets' are hard to get. (even harder now with the anti-farming changes)
The DEVs have stated several times that this is not true...that there are dropped items that you cannot replicate through crafting (though you can improve them through crafting). Don't know how rare they are, but they do exist.cmongo_ESO wrote: »No i mean you can craft any of the set armor that drops....

I have seen dropped staffs that have embedded enchantments that don't require charges below level 10...I certainly cannot craft anything like that.
You'll find that set again in VR levels. At VR1 I'm finding Akaviri Dragonguard, Magicka Furnace, Warlock, etc., sets that I was finding in my 20s.SadisticSavior wrote: »The DEVs have stated several times that this is not true...that there are dropped items that you cannot replicate through crafting (though you can improve them through crafting). Yeah, I just checked and it seems that Silks of the Sun is not a craftable set. I was planning on using it, but the pieces of this set are too low lvl. Sigh.
Then what exactly is the problem?Malediktus wrote: »Crafting doesnt mean anything if everyone can level every craft at the same time and make best in slot gear without much effort. Crafting in this game is leveled way too easy to be meaningful in the long run.
Really, I'm finding it the other way around, dropped gear is frequently better than I can craft, with the exception of enchantments, which are about the same.Malediktus wrote: »I compared the stats of equal lvl and quality items from dropped with crafted gear and the dropped gear is always a few points worse even if I upgrade it with honing stones and such.
If you compare pure armor values of 2 items of same slot, level and quality for example, the crafted one will always have more currently.AlexDougherty wrote: »Really, I'm finding it the other way around, dropped gear is frequently better than I can craft, with the exception of enchantments, which are about the same.Malediktus wrote: »I compared the stats of equal lvl and quality items from dropped with crafted gear and the dropped gear is always a few points worse even if I upgrade it with honing stones and such.

This doesnt seem that fair. I can understand drops being worse than crafted gear to make crafting popular, but shouldnt the stats at least become on pair with crafted gear after upgrading it?

Oh I agree there. Mixing Crafted and Dropped/PvP is definitely the way to go. I think you could live with crafted definitely, but if you wanted to "completely" optimize your build, you'd most likely have both.

P.S. - Just checked, Level 34 Green Medium Jack is 139 Armor, & Werewolf Jack at 33 is 139 armor...doesn't seem so bad.
