You wouldn't even know that it's supposed to be a vampire motif if it wasn't named so and connected to harrowstorms. It looks more like elven weapons. And the magicka version of jabs is functionally (not visually) a better vampiric spell than anything in the actual vampire skill line. Of all the things to complain about, you choose to open multiple threads per day about the visuals, while you let the skill's functionality slip through.
That's exactly my point. I don't much care how the skill looks, as that gets lost among countless other effects, but I do care about the functionality. The damage output was destroyed, and yet everyone keeps complaining about the animation. It's like complaining about a bumper sticker on a car with flat tires.shadyjane62 wrote: »What does it matter to look at skill nerfs if your red line is the dreadful animation. If you are not willing to look at that pool noodle why bother worrying about nerfs that will not affect you.
I love jabs , but new animation is something that is not jabs it's spears not jabs anymore. We need our jabs back or different unique form of spear and graphic changes to other Aedric spear abilities or return with old animation to match with rest of abilities. Changing only one thing is not good enough if rest of skills still look outdated, change every skill or nothing.

I mean, did you see the DSR trifecta mount... it looks like a colour reskin from the atronach mounts made on MSPaint... But this patch trifecta progs are pretty much on standstill, so it doesn't matter... /o\

It's just bizarre to see because if you're not going to actually make something decent/unique/new, why bother changing it at all? I don't recall hearing much from templars about thinking anything was wrong with the original animation.
