Heavy Attacks are still buggy or non-responsive on PTS

The community has been posting many threads since April on problems with heavy attacks. Mostly Tanks since we cannot get heavy attacks off between mechanics now without a serious increase of risk to get hit by the next before the heavy attack’s completion. Many staff issues are present as well.

Most were praying that it would be recognized at all, but also a chance to be fixed this patch given all the focus on light/heavy attacks.

Granted there is also some significant controller input issues on console where casting skills, ultimate abilities, and even activating potions need to be pressed a few times before they work but that is a whole other thing. Might be related but I’ll leave that off the PTS discussion.

    It’s not as noticeable on PC of course so please do not dismiss it. It becomes very exaggerated on consoles.

    Now it is buged and nerfed )))

    Lets combine over powers and start to wright about this problems more often ?

    Because it is already a more than a year problem. May be they think it is not important ?

    Anything at all please? Do I need to post links to videos showing this?

    Main thing for ME is holding block - I used to be able to hit Attack and just after let go of block which first triggered a bash, and then as block was dropped I went into a Heavy Attack immediately allowing me to get resources with little time wasted so I can block the next mechanic.

    Now it’s clunky where I have to drop block and wait a second before starting a heavy. Sometimes it goes off and others I have to let it go and try again after the next mechanic. If I’m way too low on resources then there is no next time. Personally I’ve become way better at leaving block off until the last second since I can no longer sneak a heavy in, but many players cannot while other areas still don’t allow for that. Prime example vSS holding Fury’s, Will’s, and big cat jumps all at once.

    HA - do not start casting on live some times - it is a big problem - because you can not start attack !!!

    I do not think that this bug is fixed on PTS - so problem exist.

    Even after nerfs of Moltan Armaments - and nerf our damage again - at lest fix heavy attacks bug ... .

    It do not normally work more than a year.

    We do not feel any love when our skills do not work for years or HA is buged for years.

    By the way when the same problem was with La it was fix in month !!! Just to compare !

    We had a response from you back in April on this bug being shared with the Dev Team. With so much work going into LA/HA I would have hoped there would have been a follow up either here or the Bug Reports post.

    Another PTS week where no mention of any fixes to Console Inputs, Skill queuing, triggering Pots/Ultimates, and just the simple ability to Heavy Attack from a SnB block or staves with all of this work on LA/HA.

    Makes me sick. Is it not worth the Dev time since it is not as big of an issue on PC? I had someone test it on the PTS and it's still there with his controller mode.

    I was going to hit "@ ZOS_" everyone starting with an A, B, C etc. Work is being done on Light and Heavy attacks. Damage only of course, but can we check out the functionality please? Yesterday even our skills on PSNA were taking up to 3 seconds to fire off in vKA. Let alone core combat functions. Was the worst vKA run ever.

    Heavy attacks, skill queuing, drinking pots, and kicking off Ultimates. They all go unresponsive without stopping everything and pressing the buttons a few times. I am certainly not the only one feeling this.
