Let Isobel's head be protected!

I know this has been brought up before in the past, and it'll probably get swept under the rug again but hey.. gotta have some hope.
After the Whitestrake's Mayhem event with the House Dufort style.. Isobel looks great in it, but she's missing my favorite part of the style.. the helmet!

Please let our Lady Knight wear a helmet.
Please?

    no thanks you have Ember.
I'm not asking to change the character, just the ability for the character to display all the pieces of armor.

but I want to see her in full armor with the helmet.
I like that helmet, but don't really have any characters that would really work in Breton armor
so I want to see it on Isobel. But the best part really is the helmet.

But then you wouldn't be seeing her in full armor with the helmet, you'd be seeing Generic Random Faceless House Dufort Mook. Same as anyone else wearing that helmet.

I personally prefer seeing a generic random faceless house dufort mook, than 5 companions with the same face waiting for a WB to respawn.

The only thing that says “this is companion, not player” is the face. Costume or outfit can be identical to the player they run with, and you need the distinction.

I can make a character that looks identical to a companion and then dress up the same. If people want to be twinsies with their companion they already can.

Not being able to show headgear on our companions is just stupid. The character is still them even if they wear a helmet or hat, same as my characters are still themselves or I am myself even if I wear a hat. The noggin needs protection!

then you'd flip a toggle to hide her helmet, like we do for our own characters, or talk to her. SWTOR let your companions have headgear and you could toggle it to be hidden or not, and even have it be tied to whether they were in conversation or not I think.

I just want a recolor on her hair. Its too flat a color, needs a few highlights to avoid looking like a helmet.

    Yup. Add helm, hide it!

I can admit that in the past at least, a motivator for wanting Isobel to wear a helmet was her eyebrows and her constant frown. I also admit that being around other players and seeing basically all the same faces from the same companions is jarring and people having different helmets on would alleviate that sameness maybe.
But my primary motivator at this time is wanting to see Isobel in this specific helmet and armor style.
    It just looks cool.

Yes please, let them wear helmets and hats. There is literally no reason not to. We can tell they aren't real players by their tagline. We don't NEED to see six Bastians and seventeen Mirris at every wayshrine.

Yes, which is better than a bunch of Isobel clones running around.

Let us change their personalities too so she doesn't walk like she does. It's so off-putting.

She's fine the way she is. We just need the option to be able to protect her and other companions head if we want.

Not something that interest me and if there's a choice I rather have hide helmet. Much easier to add since we already can give them costumes and outfits.
But could be nice for others. Hair is a small change that does a lot for less clone effect but without changing the character much. So that's nice.

I'd rather change their hairstyles. I never ever let my helm show on my characters and I don't want to put one on my companions either. Isobel's hairstyle is the worst and Ember's is a close second.

Isobel would agree that the helmet is cool and would always ask every time we entered a city if she could take some time to bang out the dents and give it a good polish.

Exacly. A proper knight needs a matching helmet for their suit of armour, otherwise it isn't complete!

I've told someone in real life that their eyebrows looked messed up and that they need to fix them. They thanked me for being honest, when all of her other friends wouldn't as they were too concerned with her "feelings". These other friends chose instead to gossip about it amongst themselves when they weren't around.

So tell me, who is the ACTUAL nice person in this scenario?

I think I wouldn't want be friends with someone who thought my eyebrows were "messed up" and told me so to my face. Tact is a thing and I don't think many would really appreciate this level of 'honesty'. This all so off topic anyway, Isobel's eyebrows aren't really anything to do with whether companions should be able to wear a helmet.

Personally, I'd love for my companion to be able to wear a helmet, at least during battle, because he acts as my tank and it would be reasonable for someone wearing heavy armour to wear a helm. I have so many good hats and helms so it's something of waste not being able to use them.
