Suggestion: Make the GCD visible and audible in game

One of the (perhaps accidentally) genius parts of ESO is the combat system and animation cancelling/weaving. Few people master it without addons, accessing out of game video, or being coached by another player. For accessibility to advanced content it is one of the gateways that is not evident for many players.

Because the animations in game are often out of sync with the optimal timing for light/medium/heavy attack weaving with skills, it would benefit players if the UI somehow showed the GCD, gave feedback about whether, and what, the player "missed" in a GCD, and offered in-game help about how to approach weaving.

If this ruins the immersion, then tie the feature to trial dummies and their goal of learning and improving dps in trials.

Knowing our luck the way they'd show the GCD would be with a flash.

Was too suggesting something along the lines, though I actually would hate any kind of interface audio cue I had to hear every second. Optional, tied to a dummy? Oh well, fine with me.

Visually though some sort of indicator would be nice. Like whenever you activated your skill, the bar gets faded out (greyscale) and in like one second, it returns to its colored version. On top of that, you could like ever so slightly reduce the size of the borders and once it returns, the borders where the symbols of the skills are slotted to, return to their original size? Anyway, there would be a lot of options to create visual indicators that could be helpful and would not hurt the game or the immersion - especially not if just an optional feature.

But anyway, why post anew without linking or talking anything when the topic itself wasn't like even a day old?
