Multiple discords have spoken. Those that stayed to give it one last chance, and were ignored have already went to other games. GG ZoS you beat the end gamers you disliked so much.

Even reverting the changes next patch <WILL HAPPEN 100%> won't do a thing at that pont.

I mean demage is done and them changing it back would be a knee jerk reaction right?

Players lost 20-30% of dps.
Bosses lost 10% of hp.
Portal mechanics, hp and timers remained the same.

How does this help accessibility? It does the opposite.

Just to add-

jabs , flurry being removed for versions 2.0 that look awfull,
horrible healing,
Several classes with changes that didn't need to exist.
Medium attack weaving meta
Random dot durations that don't work with each other
Resto staff Best for heavy attacks
Lot of nerfs to classes that didn't need them
Oakensul nerfed.
and changes that i can't understand...

this ignoring the incredible ammount of glitches we are going to have in the live game.

I love eso and it's players, i really do, but this hurts and i'm not even a endgame player, tbh i suck at the game.

On pretty much all the discord servers I'm at people are talking about moving to ff14, not because it is a better game or anything, imo Eso has the best content out there but people are moving because developers and moderators respect you on the other side, they don't mock you for giving feedback, they don't threaten to ban you from forums when you criticize.
Yesterday I was warned that I'd be banned because I was criticizing the game management, I asked the moderator who removed my post "can you please highlight the parts I am wrong" and since then I am completely being ignored by the moderator, I have never seen moderators ignoring their customer in any other platfrom.

Pouty ZoS is the norm when they can't even buy a compliment after making terrible design choices for no apparent reason.
Suddenly clamping down on the "bashing" and "baiting" becomes job one.

Lost players, will lose more. Prog groups dropping left and right.

Poorly thought out changes. Poorly thought out boss health changes. This whole cycle is an utter disaster with ZOS continuing to dig the hole deeper and deeper.

The whole 'listening to feedback' lasted a whole day. One whole day of miniscule hope they may just scrap the changes.

No, they would rather lose players because they know better, despite the fact they play little to no mid to high end PVE.

You really don't know better. You don't listen, you don't consider your players and people remember. This patch may well become famous in mmo history as an example of what NOT to do.

People will certainly remember your stance on accessibility, especially for the old and disabled. This did not help them. They do not want to spam heavy attack. They do not want to manage timers now ranging from 3 to 32 seconds(wrg on that), they don't need less dos and they REALLY DON'T NEED the ring hailed as an accessibility aid being nerfed.

It is honestly pretty disgusting.

Scorepushing is already dead on PC/NA. We haven't gotten any of the best scores in months, EU has beaten us.

Now, with these new changes..... score pushing is dead. No one has a chance of beating the current records.

The people who have spent hours of their time learning the absolute most about the game have nothing to do. They are leaving.

So you have a mass exodus at the top.

People who are getting into trifectas and hardmodes for the first time are being faced with an abruptly moving goal post. For many of those groups, that goal post is entirely out of reach. A few groups are hunkering down, planning to get reps on the content and have resigned themselves to not clearing anything next patch, until things are "fixed". Most people have no faith it will be fixed.

So you have a mass exodus a step below the top.

People who are just seeing vet for the first time are overwhelmed. No one knows what gear will be meta next patch. Fewer and fewer people are even bothering to test-- what's the point? What's the point of anything anymore? The newer players are overwhelmed by the change, the negativity, and the uncertainty. They are discouraged that the gear they just farmed and learned how to use might not be useful. They are discouraged and disappointed that light weaving, a skill they have just learned, will no longer be the best choice. They see the damage nerfs, they see their 3 hour vSS clear, and they are giving up.

So you have a mass exodus in the middle.

I could keep going, but you get the point. People are leaving in droves, at every level of play.

Me, I am trying to weather it. I have my baby groups, we are hitting older content.

I don't know if I can bring them through this patch or not. My two rosters have a LOT of overlap already. I can barely scrap together 16 players between the two, and patch hasn't even hit live yet.

Just to be clear, did you test this? Which mechanics? Say, vSS portal (nicknamed "Barry") - are we sure they didn't nerf his HP? What about crystals in vCR, what happened to their HP?

If only they'd take the time for us to test, give feedback, and then act upon the feedback...

This ^ It's not just the changes at this point, it's the attitude towards the players, and the complete unappreciative feeling for all the (free) testing, and feedback that gets ignored anyway. I wonder if no one participated on the pts what parts of the game would be afloat anymore.

In the last two years I have only gotten on the PTS to check out High Isle. What I saw there convinced me to keep my wallet in my deepest pocket.

I don't understand why anybody would download the PTS to test freely for a company that never respects what we do to help them fix their game.

Community sentiment is lower than I've ever seen it, compare this to patches we've had in the past where light attacks, blocking and taunt were literally broken, and made vet content unplayable! And somehow the vibe is even worse.

I have never seen so many negative posts on the ESO subreddit and I believe the steam reviews have shifted from "Overwhelmingly Positive" to "Very Positive" and that's before the update is even out.

ZOS I think it'd be best to just admit defeat on this one.

checking it now is still showing 83% of the 1000 reviews in the last 30 days were positive

what will be really telling is what will happen after the patch goes live, the last 30 days of reviews could easily shift into the negative territory when this hits the masses

the "total" reviews is at 100,000+, so a few hundred negative reviews might not affect the overall rating as much

The pts has been out for 5 weeks now. People have logs of vet hard mode trials. We know how much DPS we're losing. We know the game is going to be even less accessible now if you want to reach good numbers, and anyone who doesn't care about good numbers will do less DPS than on live. I don't get why they're so hell-bent on pushing out these nerfs. It's clearly in no one's best interests. The majority of the eso community I've seen everywhere is hard lamenting these changes and their reasons are justified. There are literally a dozen more already existing issues with the live version that can be fixed instead of this.

I guess their goals are beyond our understanding, and when that happens, the community just walks away from the game along with a pretty long-lasting bad impression of the game itself that multiplies over the course of time like a virus among the players until the game eventually dies off.

i do kind of hope that this isnt a "star wars galaxies NGE" type of thing, you would think game devs in the industry would learn from these types of things lol

I wasn't impressed with FFIV when I tried their free demo, but it would be a consideration if the several "pebbles in my shoe" here finally get me to try something else.
