    They did something great alright. They managed to anger 80% of their playerbase and unite the majority of PVP and PVE players, then managed to throw salt in the wound by lightly touching their changes and not actually addressing everything on monday. Sure, it could be that they're working on it. But I doubt they're working on the majority of what the playerbase actually wants.

    This approach to updates that ZOS presents is precisely the reason why I will always, but always have a monthly subscription.

    For me, ESO is finished. Maybe I will come back to it in the future, but not before the next update, because I don't believe ZOS will do what should be done now. Maybe they will come to their senses after recording a huge drop in profits, or maybe not. Either way. At the moment I have no intention of forcing myself to play ESO, it's time for a break.

    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

    "Tribute Reward Bags no longer grant potions, poisons, Soul Gems, food or drinks" - is this great U35 deed.

    It is difficult to find a precedent where changes were so widely derided or abhorred.

    AwA was very divisive but there was a rather even split between yes/no/DC.

    We might need to harken back all the way to the already mentioned 'cast time on shields' to find something so extensively reviled.
