The other side of this is where is the power creep in vMA?
Like I said, I've been working towards a 600k score for a while now and that means keeping an eye on the leaderboards, and honestly scores have been going down. There used to be half a dozen 600k scores, now there are 1 or 2 for sorc and none at all for warden.
The warden leaderboard for the current patch has a high score of 592k.
The power creep is entirely based on group buffs. The peak of vMA scores was back when thrassians was released and we were seeing 620k scores, which means those times are very possible.
If there is so much power creep, why are there not 620k scores?
I've said this elsewhere, but it bears repeating. They are nerfing our individual power because they are unhappy with our potential group power.
This is why it's affecting the mid and lower tier more. This is why this is worse for prog groups than score pushers.
The better the group the less this matters because they have the uptime on all the buffs and debuffs.
The more casual the group, the less likely you'll have perfect uptimes, or you might not even have a buff like major slayer, so the worse off you are.
