The Elder Scrolls Online v8.1.1 activates the Undaunted Celebration for testing this week and also includes several fixes for dungeon content, a few item sets, and more. Please note we are still discussing potential adjustments for combat balance and you can expect to see some of those changes beginning next week. We encourage you to continue providing feedback in the official PTS feedback threads in the meantime. The size of this latest patch is approximately 178MB.

Undaunted Celebration Event Testing
The Undaunted want you to put your life and your dignity on the line for bragging rights once again! During the Undaunted Celebration, conquer challenging dungeons for bonus rewards.- The first final dungeon boss you defeat in a day will drop TWO Event Tickets and a special Glorious Undaunted Reward Box.
- This box contains an assortment of valuable goods, Motif pages, and a guaranteed chance for one of the new style pages for this event’s Opal weapons, which feature a return of previous Undaunted Celebration Opal gear from Ilambris, Troll King, Bloodspawn, Engine Guardian, and Chokethorn.
- This year’s new Opal style is themed around Velidreth from Cradle of Shadows.
- Defeating those bosses on the Veteran Hard Mode of those dungeons has a chance to drop the Opal shoulder style page for those bosses as well!
- Subsequent dungeons you complete will continue to award slightly-less-valuable Undaunted Reward Boxes, which still have a chance to drop those weapon style pages.
- The big change this year is that Undaunted Reward Boxes are named based on where you got the box drop from. While all boxes have a chance to drop the Opal pages accordingly, each box also drops a bonus set piece from an item set that can drop in the respective dungeon.
- For example, if you run Fungal Grotto for your boxes and tickets, you’ll only get extra Fungal Grotto gear. Get in those other dungeons if you want other item set pieces!
- The Impresario offers style pages for this year’s Velidreth Opal equipment for 5 tickets each, as well as the first two fragments for the Daggerfall Paladin costume morph for 10 tickets each.

Dungeons- Shipwright's Regret
- Fixed an issue with various effects in the Captain Numerril encounter being reflected when those effects should not allow reflection.

- To Catch a Magus: Fixed an issue where Jakarn would disappear and not return if he got stuck in the catacombs.
General- Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in a state where your game interactions were disabled.
Gameplay- Reduced the combo pay out on the Midnight Raid and Siege Weapon Volley cards.

- Updated the description text for the Invaders' Bane achievement to specify 25 minutes instead of 30.

- Lutea can no longer be melee attacked outside of melee range.
- Laurel will now appear wrapped in vines in the fight space with Archdruid Devyric.

- The achievement Back to Sleep is now correctly incremented in Normal difficulty.
- Rats no longer have a chance roam through objects.
- The Logbook of Anwas will no longer appear on the beach before Dhulef finds it further in the dungeon.
- Dhulef will now always display his protective air bubble when appropriate.
- Dhulef now has more to say when you return to Graven Deep.
- Bristlepitch dropped by player characters using the synergy now deals the same damage as those dropped by player characters that fail to use the synergy, and the synergy version can no longer report critical damage.
- The Bristlepitch area effect now correctly deals damage in Veteran difficulty.
- Euphotic Gatekeeper
- The Euphotic Gatekeeper encounter no longer has a chance to reset after the Euphotic Gatekeeper completes its Scurry ability.

General- Fixed an issue where you could avoid being interrupted while interacting with certain objects, such as relics in Battlegrounds.

- Fixed an issue where Isobel (and possibly other Companions) would get upset with you for killing a specific spawn of Sul-Xan Warrior that was incorrectly flagged as a civilian.
Quests- Shattered and Scattered: This quest can no longer be shared for consistency with other Companion quests.
Dungeon Sets- Grave Inevitability: Fixed an issue where the visual effects for this set were visible to enemies.
- Gryphon’s Reprisal: Fixed an issue where the Damage over Time from this set’s synergy would miss stealthed targets.
Monster Masks- Kargaeda: Fixed an issue where this set was not reducing the cost of dual costing abilities.
PvP Sourced- Langour of Peryite: Fixed an issue where the visual effects for this set was lasting longer than intended.

Tutorial- Fixed an issue where you could see two Blackwood portals in the tutorial portal room.
