Killed inside Imperial City Trophy Vault without the possibility to fight back.
Hello. Yesterday I logged into ESO to get my tickets and got a key to an Imperial City Trophy Vault from the rewards of the event. The Ethereal Trophy Vault to be more precise. I didn't want the key to take an inventory slot so I quickly went to the Vault to use it. When I arrived there was a warden enemy player from the Aldmeri Dominion inside. I was from Ebonheart Pact (The district was under EP control). I get inside and the Feral Guardian started attacking me. I could not leave the room, I could not heal and could not attack the bear. I ended up running inside. I managed to open the treasure but died shorty after. It's my understanding that while inside these rooms you can neither attack or be attacked so I'm guessing it's a bug. I laughed it off because I didn't lose anything but today I decided to report it because it might be the root of a more serious issue if people start abusing it.

Marronsuisse✭✭✭✭Just want to back this up because I've seen a player bragging about how they've been killing other players in the vaults with their bear. The victims can't fight back, can't interact with the door to escape because they're stuck in combat, and eventually die.
I'm curious if you lost Tel Var from this death? If so this needs to be addressed (I mean, it should be addressed either way but that would be especially ouch).1 -

This right here is the key to the whole thing. This has got to be a violation of ToS, abusing a known exploit. Any chance you know the name of the player? Also, @ZOS_Kevin or @ZOS_GinaBruno

✭✭✭✭✭Doing this once by accident without realizing that one's combat pet is going to attack an "enemy" player is understandable.
Deliberately repeating it in order to grief "enemy" players and easily take half of their Tel Var stones "risk-free" is just wrong.
Ideally, either combat pets should be automatically dismissed in places like this (and not be allowed to be resummoned), or all players should be flagged as "friendly" to each other (as in PvE zones) so one player's combat pet won't be aggroed by the mere presence of an "enemy" player.
But until ZOS does something to "fix" this (assuming that's reasonable and doable), take screenshots and report the offender. ZOS should be able to review the game logs to determine whether the reported player was cluelessly innocent or deliberately exploiting the situation, such as by considering how long the offender with the combat pet was in the vault and whether they were obviously waiting for other players to come in and get stuck in combat until they died and lost half of their Tel Var.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!4 -

perfiction✭✭✭✭✭Player pets have always been weirdly coded. Look at Mist Form nerfs - it no longer provides dmg mitigation in PVE. For some reason damage from player pets wasn't negated either, as if they were coded as normal PVE mobs, not player abilities. Spaghetti code strikes again

That might be related or supposed to be the same, but Sanctuary buff is not stealth.

it queues for the opposite thing and auto accepts, all by one keypress, should work infight as well
(but had no opportunity to test it specifically in these rooms so far and propably never will)
