Well that’s horribly disappointing. I just became a WW for the first time and I’m loving it. Why destroy WW? Not like it’s terribly overpowered.

tl;dr: Werewolf on PTS with gold gear feels about like it does on live with non-optimum gear. There continues to be no reason to run WW in PvE other than RP or because you like the one bar simplicity. That said, a non-elite player can still run mid-game content in WW form, though it's a non-optimum choice.

For comparison to others that are posting results, I'm probably in the upper third of players, but not the top 10%. I tend to run solo builds rather than min max DPS builds. I have moderate ping between 150-250, and on non-WW can parse in the 70s on the trial dummy using somebody else's build ideas. I have no real idea how to min / max CP and frankly don't care to spend the time to figure it out. That said:

I ran WW with Relequen, Tzogvin's & Slimecraw and either oaken or pale order ring along with parse food. I set CP to whatever seemed okayish. I parsed about 25 k on the 3 M skele, and could have done the same on the 6M. No attempt was made to finish at exactly zero stamina, nor did I run a bunch of parses and pick the best of the best. This is in comparison to about 30K that I can pull on a non-WW on the 3M skele under the same conditions. I ran vMA with a final score of 518K and two deaths (argonians, ofc). I used 3 Sigils on purpose and another few accidentally because I was trying to eat someone. My DPS across the whole final round of the final arena of vMA was just under 18K. (vMA was also with parse food)

Subjectively, the claws nerf hurts, a lot. I switched from oaken soul to pale order half way through, because my health ran too close to death too many times. Switching to blue two stat food would have helped this, but sustain would have been an issue. Timers have not been increased on skills where it would help. I did not get stuck in the pounce animation lock, but probably because I used the non-optimum morph.

With a companion set to be a durable healer, I suspect you could even-out the health ping-pong if you wanted to solo vet dungeons. With claws of life in its current form, CC becomes a real deathtrap, and final bosses in vet dungeons typically have a plethora of CC. That said, I did not try it. Maybe later...
