Wondering if anyone can answer this question, if you have a magic costing skill, that scales off of weapon damage because your weapon damage is higher, does that skill then automatically scale off of weapon crit, or if your spell crit is higher will it scale off of spell crit? Very hard to test this on console with no addons.

Example, can molten whip scale off of weapon damage and spell crit, or does it scale off weapon crit just because its scaling off weapon damage?
This is important because potions in the game like the alliance war potions give you ONLY spell damage and spell crit with magic or only weapon damage weapon crit and stamina.
