    I laughed out loud when I read the change. ZoS' refusal to give an actual stamina whip is so strong that it's palpable. You can taste it. The previous change where they made it scale off either stam or magicka, but still cost magicka with a message at the end that was like "I hope this puts the stamina debate to rest" or something else passive aggressive wasn't enough, this feels FAR more passive aggressive than the previous change.

    I actually like this change since we'll have to be spamming whip a lot more with all the DoT extensions. I was able to hit 100k on PTS with staff backbar AND I was using orb and talons. If whip was all magicka cost, I wouldn't have been able to sustain it.

    Wait until you try it ;)

    Yea people are complaining about the split cost, but the weapon & spell damage buff actually got increased? LOL.

    Magdks in pvp don't really want to be draining their stam in pvp to use their spammable.

    Not to mention that in PVE, people have been balancing sustain by mixing mag and stam skills... but with the whip, now they just both run out.

    Maybe this is crazy but so far cost change in whip is good. At least for StamDK. My sustain was a lot better with this and i like having good sustain.
    In addition DK can use Burning Talons to keep magicka low for Bahsei so there is an option for it.
    So yeah, from all those Natch Potes (combat ones) this is the only thing i like. But im not saying i have to get it, if this creates problems for MagDK i will survive without it. As long as i dont have to use Stone Giant that is.
