If this change goes through, I'm gonna miss the old (current) Deep Fissure for sure, though.
The timing change might be the most egregious lack of thought and care for their player base.
It doesn't matter how you play warden, every warden has that 3 second delay EMBEDDED in their being. Our entire burst relies on it. Some of us have played this class for multiple years on a daily basis. Our entire muscle memory is defined by that delay.
If it fired a second earlier, maybe I could forgive you. 1 second later is absolutely unacceptable. So much happens in 4 seconds.
The 8% nerf in damage is also uncalled for. This skill already hits for way less than other class defining burst skills. I get that shalks can hit multiple targets, but we're already at a huge disadvantage by needing to "face" the target plus the fact that its damage is 20% mitigated by major evasion. There's such low reward for the stress and skill that it takes to hit moving targets at range with this ability.
It deserves an 8% damage INCREASE. A damage decrease plus the timing change is ludicrous.
Are you seriously going to nerf the (probably) unanimously voted worst performing class in the game?
It will be also absolute bs to play against too. Now if you see charging animation, it is 3s. After patch, it's 3s or 4s, absolutely randomly to you. And next wave when you already forgot about it, but totally unpredictable, because timings are also different.
