Does anyone else think Maebroogha the Void Lich is like... really cool for ESO standards? She has some incredibly unique animations/poses for her ringed AoEs. It's like contortionist breakdancing or something haha. Feels awesome compared to just "I float and shoot stuff from my staff" attacks we usually see on magic bosses.
Would cherish seeing more unique designs like this personally. Are there some others y'all remember that really stand out to you?

✭✭✭Quick sidebar: Between Mae and Arana (the Reach witch that sometimes accompanies you during the Markarth storyline), I've really wanted a void magic skill line. It's such a unique aesthetic.
I'm a big fan of Mae's creepy animations and her voice lines, too. Makes the fight enjoyable, even if it's frustrating sometimes.
I appreciated Laatvulon (the black dragon from the Elsweyr story). There wasn't much that was mechanically spectacular, but his voice was unique, and he had some unique animations as well, like the forward wing thrust. It made him memorable for me.
And, yes, I enjoyed the last boss of BDV for similar reasons.
I like it when the bosses have a unique personality about them. It's not about long monologues or big showy mechanics for me. Voice acting, atmosphere, animations and music. That's the stuff.✨🐦✨ Blackfeather Court Commission ✨🐦✨3 -

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

✭✭I despise that fight's DPS check (I'm a tank, I have feelings, okay?) and it's a long effort to beat her back into the Void, a Walmart parking lot of wherever it is she comes from. That being said, it's an interesting fight and she's an interesting boss. The trophy you get from beating her resembles that girl from the Ring movies, only a bit greenish. Vateshran's as a whole is an interesting place, as opposed to dull and repetitive Maelstrom.
Someone I was grouped with said we were going to fight Raiden from Mortal Kombat when we got to BDV's final boss. I guess we were lucky not to face Shao Khan...

Took me a long time too. ESO hates stam toons. The Ring of the Pale Order was a big help there, though it was still a struggle.
