Is d("text") not working anymore?

Either I am doing something pretty wrong, or d("test...") is not working anymore. I can't see any output with d() from any other addon either.
Any other way for a quick output?

Feroc✭✭✭I only have the default tab "Chat".

The easy way to get around it on startup is instead using a delayed call.
