I keep getting error messages about "adjacent" stuff, whatever, when I try to assign new champion points - has something changed?

✭For clarity, the issue may not be adjacent to the node you're trying to change. When you click "save" it tries to save the entire allocation, so it's saying some node you have assigned is invalid, but not which. It's likely one of the nodes whose minimum allocation was increased in the patch.1 -

✭✭✭Yes. Some things now cost more than they used for the minimum to unlock adjacent things
There really should have been a system warning at character log-in as well as a free CP respec to deal with the changed requirement that will always give you that message until you change things for 3,000 gold.Edited by Iselin on June 26, 2022 6:34PM1 -

I got plenty of friends, I need clearer paths forward...
sorry for being so salty - my alliance has been gated for 12 plus hours, I wanna get out there and try out my shiny new brokensoul rings on all my toons

yes, having some kind of notice pushed to me regarding changes to eso's character "advancement" system would have been helpful for myself, and maybe a few other million players...
