Account Wide Writs

Out of interest how much is a single Dreugh Wax on PC-NA atm? PC-EU has seen a slight drop recently from 20k to just around 18k each.

As for the one-stop shop idea, it wouldn't work, when considering some people do writs on 18 character's, I do them on 7, others different numbers, how would you suggest the reward system would work to allow for that? 🤔

Edit:- Chromium platings have also dropped in price by around 15-20k 😏

For example with daily jewelry writs I was trying to avoid saying guaranteed or substantially higher odds of a chromium plating dropping at max level. It feels incredibly rewarding when logging into 4 toons and each miraculously all get a chromium grain. It’d feel even more encouraging logging into one toon and receive a gold plat. enchanting writs could use a chance for prismatic runes. Love the Kuta, but my craft bag has barely any prismatic at the moment..

Why not a Fishing Daily writs that offer a chance at perfect roe drop? Or antiquity daily writ go to x base zone dig up green or blue object and deliver.

I play the same elf as multiple class/specs. When we log in, she chooses whether to play that session as a magplar, stamward, etc as casually as she chooses her hairstyle or outfit. In each case, her looks, race are identical. Even her name is as close as the system allows. So, overall, I'm a fan of AWA - though not so impressed with aspects of its implementation such as map depiction accuracy.

While I don't favor the OP's proposal as is, I don't think I'd have a problem with, if you have six characters, you could pick up six rounds of writs per day total on any one or combination of character(s) you like. As for me, I enjoy doing one (and only one) full set of writs per day. Happily, I find that meets my needs just fine. My elf is wealthy but that is because her expenses are low, not because her income is high. Only so many furnishings fit in the Snugpod.

There are other aspects you are missing though.

I would like to take this moment to remind everyone that you are restricted to 50 daily quests per day. With that in mind you could not in fact what you want to do.

Personally I would only favor any of the changes involved above if it applied to Every single daily and otherwise repeatable quest in the game. Want to do a trial? You get to pick 1 trial per week to do. Want to pick up a random normal? You get one per day. Dlc zone dailies? You get 1, no sharing no alt characters nada. 1 story quest per day. Nuke everything until it makes it the grindiest of grinds

I lost a lot of personal time spent with AWA Dropped. Leave my writs alone. If you don't then I will fight to have everything everyone else loves nuked as well

This might have been the way it should have always been with writs, but IMO it's too late now. A lot of us have already benefited greatly from the way it is now and it would be pretty shady to kick the ladder out from those climbing up behind us at this point. The ship has sailed.

Reminds me of a streamer I watched who was pushing to have the xp for turning in master alchemy writs nerfed so people couldn't level that way after he'd finished leveling all of his characters with it.

I have to agree with the no vote here. However I would like there to be a way to see what motifs are learned for master writ purposes when on other characters, it would make knowing if I can so the writ and need to save it or I don't know the motif and don't want to buy it so I'll sell the writ. I'm sure there is some addon for PC but nothing for console players which is where I play the game xbox na.

Personally I'd prefer character based writs, not account wide. I can't see any value in making crafting writs account wide other than to annoy most of the crafting community.

I'd love a writ helper though, or better still a companion or imp or something who goes off to collect your Surveys. I'd pay actual Crowns for that

You can use the lore library for this purpose, it lists all the motif pages and tells you what you have or don't have for each individual character and motif. You need to log into that specific character to check though. Not sure how this works on console, but on PC we get access to this feature after fully completing the mages guild with the specific character you want to check this on.
