Weapon enchants & Status effect ?!?

Inhave been playing the game for 3,5 years and i Still dont fully understand exactly how status effects and enchants work really …
I have some question and was wondering if anyone can answer some of them. Just for background story : i am a magsorc and its my only character i actually play. Most questions below are mostly related to PvP.
1) My FB is flame 🔥 enchant. When i attack someone for the first time then sometimes 2 numbers go off (numbers of dmg) and sometimes 3 numbers go off …
Is it correct for me to say that if 2 numbers go off that then its the attack of the staff + the enchant going off ? And if its only one , the enchant is on cool down?!?
If its 3 then i guess its the status effect proccing right?
2) lets say i would attack someone with a flame enchant or a shock enchant , and lets say dor this excercise that status effects do not exist…! What is then the difference between a flame enchant dmg and a shock enchant dmg ? Arent they the exact same (aside for the 5%shock dmg bonus a sorcerer has)?
3) a flame or shock enchant only goes off once right (until cooldown is over)? Or does a flame enchant tick for 4 seconds and damages over time ? (Not talking about the status effect here)
4) flame enchant goes off 100% of the time with first hits right (if its LA or HA or Weapon ability)?
5) What really happens when the status effect burning procs. Is it then “dmg” - 2seconds - “dmg” - 2seconds - “dmg” ??? So 3 dmg ticks ?
6) what really happens when the status effect concussed procs … . Is it then only 4 seconds of time that the ither player will have less defense (thus you attack and dmg more)?
What happens if you proc concussed but dont attack anymore … does that mean that then their is no extra dmg being dealt out ?
In other words : is it true that concussed does not in itself give dmg …. Besides for the minor maim ? Does it not give an extra hit of some sorts besides the minor maim?
7) pvp question.
Cooldown for flame and shock enchant is 5 seconds. That of extra spell dmg is 10 seconds cooldown. I always ran shock enchant on front and glyph of spell/weapon dmg on back … to buff my FB attacks.
Now my question is … could it be that in pvp its better to have a shock enchant on front and a FLAME ENCHANT ON BB??
I am asking because it procs twice as fast (5sec versus 10sec) + it gives raw dmg instead of extra spell dmg. Also it could proc burning for 40%of the time (which i cant proc on FB))
Could it be that shock/flame enchants can be better than shock/wp dmg enchants ?
8) Can the ability force shock proc all 3 status effects (because of flame dmg / shock dmg / frost dmg) at once ?
I guess chances are 10% for ability x2 for destruction staff = 20%
20% x 3 different status effects = 60% of at least one to proc ?! Right ?
9) if wpn dmg enchant goes off then you have a 5second window to have extra spell dmg on other abilities. Lets say you can fire off 3 spells in that time and 3 LA … is that then always better then the dmg of a flame enchant instead?
I know most questions must be answered in other topics but they are all scattered around + its still complex after 4 years of playing ;-)
