Its better, but I have issues with it.

Firstly, why not just give us 5 wheels and let us put whatever, wherever we want? I still don't have enough spaces on the primary wheel for potion options, siege, food options, so it hasn't solved all the issues the wheel had. And besides, it would be much more useful to be able to classify by most important, rather than by the current categories. I could then put stuff I'm gonna need quick on the first wheel regardless of category, and less important ones on wheel menus further back.

Secondly (though I might be missing something here...), you can't currently load up emotes? Or if you can, its not intuitive how to, and behaves differently than the others.

I like it but would prefer to drop the tool wheel for a second emotes wheel. I can just put my scrying tool on the main wheel.

All I wanted was a seperate wheel for siege.........

I didn't try this on PTS and was mighty disappointed at how clunky it is. I keep changing levels instead of changing what is on my quickslot button.

It can use improvements like letting us slot anything anywhere, not just general quickslot and the namesake wheel. Having us be able to customize all the quickslot wheels without any restrictions.

It's nice to have more slots, but I'd prefer them all to be generic wheels which any slottable item can be added to, rather than dedicated ones for each type. I don't want a whole wheel for most the things which can be added and having to cycle through a bunch of mostly empty ones to find the thing I do want defeats the point of quick slots.

I just assumed it was a reference to those cardboard circles kids collected in the 90's.

Me too. I thought it was a more polite way of saying POS with the G = garbage.

All I've ever wanted on PC was the removal of the quick slot wheel altogether as it would never have been included in the first place without the intended console conversion to which it is far better suited in my view.

Looked it up and it seems it means play of the game. I guess anyone can come up with anything that fits even if others will not understand.

I once thought of a great acronym for Good For yUo but others got a different meaning from that same series of three letters. Go figure.

Lol GFY - I get that other meaning right away. Sadly yes I am old, or at least getting there.....

When I saw GG for the first time I thought - how rude!!!! I thought it meant Get gud!!

Play of the Game tho actually makes sense and does make it a good acronym, so well played for whoever created it.

I wonder if that's a backronym. A couple of sites I found said it actually does come from the 90's game, because Twitch made an emoji out of a screencap of the face someone pulled when they won a streamed game of Pogs and called it PogChamp, then all the variant terms were adapted from that.

I've heard of a similar thing where some people say 'meta' is an acronym for 'most effective tactics available'. It's actually short for meta-gaming, where meta is a Latin prefix meaning 'bigger' 'self referencing' or 'self containing' (e.g. meta data is data about your file, photo etc. which is itself data.) Meta-gaming is playing 'outside' the game or in advance of the game - researching or predicting what you're going to face and planning ahead for it rather than trying to figure out in the moment how to beat it with the build you've got.

Did English ever make sense? There's tons of old (some very old) examples of words and phrases which are equally weird. (And probably more which have been lost to time because they never quite caught on.)

For example I've heard Victorians used to say "bang up to the elephant" to mean "done perfectly" and if it rained while it was sunny they'd say the devil was beating his wife.
