Champion Points Not Working!

I completed the quest to get Ember as my companion, and I got a point for the green tree section that I tried to place, but it won't let me put it anywhere. It just keeps giving me an error that I have to have an adjacent ability purchased until I can purchase that ability. This is wrong because everywhere that I am trying to place the point are spots with several points already in there and adjacent abilities already purchased. I'm on PC/NA.

    And you disabled all addons first to make sure they're not interfering, right?

    Do those adjacent abilities have at least 1 full stage completed? I'm not saying this is the cause of your problem, just mentioning it in case.

    I'm trying to put a point in "Liquid Efficiency," before now I was able to put 72 points there and now that I am just 3 points away from maxing it out, it won't let me. The adjacent star, "Rationer" is maxed.

    It's giving me that error message at the top of the screen, yet there is an adjacent ability is purchased.

    And, it doesn't matter if I try to put the point anywhere else in the constellation between other stars. I just get the same error message.

    Maybe It's an issue with controllers?Though you only got 1 point in first,and 0 in second pic so prob why won't let you.You could try resetting the stars and closing out CP,then reopen and see if it fixes it.

    i was not having any issues applying CP, but i also do not use a gamepad (just KB/M)

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Yes, it's showing "0" because it's as if it is being applied, but it's given that error message and it won't actually complete. :/

    I'm going to try turning off the new accessibility mode and see if that works.

    I did send a ticket though.

    It's weird, because the page describing update 34 mentions numerous changes to the Warfare tree, but not the Craft and Fitness trees. I wonder if they left something out of the change description?

    I couldn't assign a champion point on a couple of my characters (mainly my tanks) and saw others mentioning it over at the bug reports.

    But then I saw this post:

    So now I know why a couple of my characters couldn't assign a point was because the cost increase of Unassailable.

    I don't know if that's the case for others though.

    I have the same problem.

    I reported it as a bug, but maybie I should have open a ticket, because the bug reported as it, I dunno when it will be fixed, ah.

    (Cannot move as fast as before now because I cannot spend the points; it disallows it, telling me that I need to buy adjacent skills...which I did...so we got the same bug)

    Try to reset all your CPs and reallocate. I believe it should help. And ZOS should have made force-reset with the update due to those CP related changes.
    One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

    Most ppl chose accessibility mode cause they thought they were getting voice chat,but not the case,lol.I been adding CP in normal mode with no issues,and I don't use controllers.Could be a controller issue,or accessibility one,or mix.

    I was changing my CP today without any problems. As others have suggested... is 'accessibility mode' on, I read it's also causing problems with map interaction. I read all the horror stories about accessibility mode, so I was sure to select NO, when I was prompted... and then went into menu and put Gamepad Mode back to Automatic- since I switch between the KB/M and Gamepad while playing. In all honesty, accessibility mode should be OFF by default... I'm sure the overwhelming majority of players do not want this... and those few who do... would be smart enough to search online or go through the settings to look for it. The extremely vague (and they were warned about this during PTS) makes it sound like it's something that it is NOT... so it confuses players into selecting 'YES' and then they're stuck trying to get rid of it.

    Some people in the bug thread are saying that it might be an issue with the points that they increased to unlock in the blue and red trees. I looked and I do need to place more points in some of the stars that were affected, so I'm going to save up some points and slot them into the stars that need more to unlock now and see if that fixes it.

    Check every star in every tree. Somewhere you should find one connected to a star whose stages were changed (e.g. from 5 stages of 10 points each to 2 stages of 25 each). You cannot save CP if you only have 10 where you need 25 to fulfill that first stage, even if only 10 CP were required last update. This is mostly likely to happen in the bottom of the blue tree with stars like Unassailable and Duelist’s Rebuff. (Also possibly in the top right of the blue tree.)

    You will get the error message any time you try to save CP even if you’re changing points in green or red but the problem is with blue. The game recognizes you no longer have enough points and will not let you save at all.

    why are most the the addons like main ones that people need not in the game yet,.
    like world boss finder and others to find skyshards because we silly can not find them lol//
    we need more help for some of us..
    some us need some them .. or most them .. maybe there not enough room for the addons in the game ..because hardly much room in servers maybe..
