I use a xbox controller mostly for game play, but sometimes use keyboard as needed .. after the latest update I seen to have 2 chat boxes now ..
One on the left hand side of the screen which has been there all along ..
And a new one on the right hand side of the screen which sometimes just shows as a white "thought" bubble. This one seems to show when I use the controller. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of it??

jrfk2✭✭✭I went into the chat options for the chat box that shows when i use keyboard, reset to defaults, and the "xbox" chat window on the right side disappeared.
Now if they can fix my problem where I can't add CP points anymore

✭✭✭I haven't seen that problem, but the chatbox on the right is the Gamepad Mode chatbox, that automatically turns on if you accepted the "Accessibility Mode" prompt when you logged in (many people did unknowingly). This might or might not help, but you'd need to do BOTH steps 1 and 2 to be sure:
1. Go into Settings -> Accessibility -> set Accessibility Mode to OFF
2. Go into Settings -> Gameplay -> scroll down to Gamepad -> Set Gamepad Mode to OFF
3. If this worked, spread the wordPC-NA

In trying to debug a different problem with support, they had me reset all my settings to defaults, which of course did not fix that problem.
But I play with Gamepad mode set to automatic as I primarily use a controller but sometimes use the keyboard when addons don't support the controller, so I put that back to automatic.
I didn't accept the accessability mode, but for now the 2nd chat box has disappeared, so not sure what got rid of it unfortunately ...0
