Craglorn has been delayed

So ZOS announced this for April release ( http://esomasters.com/eso-craglorn-content-update-coming-in-late-april/ ) however I can't see how Zenimax can fit in 7-10 days announced testing on PTS before end of April, given it's 28th of April now.

To be clear I would much much rather Craglorn be delayed so bugs and problems can addressed first. If they ship patch 1.1 to production without addressing new and existing outstanding issues (e.g. main quest bugs) I will view that negatively. Publicity wise I think it's much better to hold off on Craglorn for a brief period to work on game stability - I think that will send a strong signal issues are being taken seriously.

I would rather see it delayed then released with a ton of bugs. We have enough of those as it is.

Id like to see it released one day after sub time. So the freeloaders don't get to see it.

They need to polish the core game first.

Exactly and have patches that fix bugs, skills and other issues out first...

I personally think they should fix the issues with the vanilla game before concentrating on more broken content. I know for sure they will release it before the subs are due to hook people for another month. Regardless, they have mine for some time to come.

I just hope that the bug fixes already in place with the 1.1 don't get delayed along with Craglorn.

Your title is misleading with no evidence to back it up. Yes, the game is buggy. However, what you're not realizing is that adventure zones like Craglorn were planned content for the game, not expansions. They have to push them out quickly (bug ridden though they may be) or the people clamoring for high-end PVE will have nothing and will leave. There is plenty in this game for PVPers, plenty for casual solo PVEers, and very little in the way of group PVE. Nothing in the form of large scale group PVE, which is what some people want in an MMO.

Also, as has been pointed out many times in other threads, not everyone on a team is equipped to resolve bugs. The animators, modelers, lighting dept., writers, etc. are probably better utilized in making new content. Leave the bug fixing to programmers who know what they're doing.

To be clear I'm not saying it will be delayed by weeks. We're talking days here. I'm just saying unless Zenimax can add more days to the month of April, they can't ship it this month as there aren't enough days left in the month to get it through testing.

To be clear you are just making this up, with no evidence to support this claim.

I'm not. Quoting the game director of Elder Scrolls Online here:
This is a major update to the game, so it will be on PTS for at least a week or 10 days for testing before we take it live.

They released it to PTS on April 25th. They do not have a week or 10 days to test it this month. It is impossible.

Since I got slated for bringing this up - Craglorn has been delayed, it was due for release in April and it's now May.

    Good, by the way.

I agree with you. I would rather it get released when it is ready rather than early and unready.

Agreed. If its being held back to perfect it and sort out issues... GREAT.
If its being held back for other reasons like trying to drag out content release times or waiting to see how the player number/subs are going... NOT great.

Personally I think (hope) zeni are doing it for the right reasons, but we'll have to see.

Hmm, there is also the possibility that they are holding back till they sort out the current issues we have, in which case, still good news

The later it comes the better. Gives me more time to complete all Cyrodiil PvE content before they screw over everyone not in the higher Veteran Ranks.

I think this is the first topic I've seen customers agree on here. Delay it. Fix the shipped game before adding new content to fix.

Are there so many VR10 players?
Instead of adding content for those VR10 players only, they should focus on the paying masses, no, not the bots, the core of the fleshy players, and fix bugs, quests, achievements etc.
Adding new content is a good idea, but not endgame only content 1 month after release when a casual player needs 2 months fighting with annoying bugs.
