First, it’s not worth having stations for every craftable set in the game. Many are just not worth crafting.

Of Zenimax were to offer a station that could craft multiple sets it would be a new device. It would also cost much more than the current stations Cir the in-game merchant and crown store.

If they did take such steps there is no reason to rework how a station is tuned to various sets as we already have a system in place.

You're forgetting about sealed crafting writs.

My guild's guild hall has EVERY crafting station in game (in alphabetical order so you can find them) and using the new deadlands house, so lighting is not an issue. We also have all the mundus stones, vampire dummy and pool, ultimate regen alter, and various target dummies to test with. All the assistants are there also. It's a crafter's paradise.

I maintain the same for my build, but it's a complete pain every update as I have to shuffle 60 sets around to maintain the ordering of new sets

I love having access to them all.
I hate maintaining it.

It’s definitely something zenimax should incorporate as a quality of life change that many would welcome and I can’t imagine anyone would be angry about
