After review, we have decided to move this thread to a more appropriate PVP subsection.

In faction stack keep fights many players are just standing/running around/not contributing anything because there is nothing they can do. All siege places are either already used or impossible to use because as soon as you place a siege you get focussed by so many enemy sieges that you have to leave your siege and cant come back before it is destroyed. As a meele char you also cant attack anyone with your skills. If you go out as a defender you get focussed by whole enemy faction and killed, you would need to go out with a very strong group.
Meele players are only really needed if defenders are coming out of keep/to prevent them from this or if you get threw the breach.

There's a reason why the most skilled players have to run around in a tower taking 10 minutes to kill as many players, to get their kicks.

There is much less skill (and for me, no fun at all) in playing Cyro the way it is setup.

Capping the number of people of one faction who can be within 100m of a keep to around 20 would be the bare minimum required to make it interesting again.

OP is right, something drastic must be done to spread the action out across the map.

Another poster above is also right that it's not something the players are gonna opt for on their own.

Either the devs do something about it, or Cyro will remain ZvZ with a few persistent 1vXers doing their own thing on the fringes.

Hahahahahahah wow this is Objectives vs Deathmatch BGs but for Cyrodiil.

Yes the whole Cyrodiil mode is just a big flag game. If anyone really wanted to win cyro, they wouldn't assemble ball groups or anything stupid like that, they would do coordinated 3-4man attacks on all the keeps at once, from different sides, on immortal characters.

Literally this, I always facepalm when people say "go to cyrodiil if you want to do deathmatch" or "go to cyrodiil if you want to endlessly fight" when cyrodiil is mostly a giant flag game point collecting simulator than pvp fighting. Hence why the term PVDoor even exists as a term
